This show has a terrible influence on little children. I have seen the reviews from parents on imdb that claim their kids, who once were so quiet and well-behaved, started to whine and throw tantrums just like Caillou. What were the creators thinking?

Caillou is a perfect example of bad parenting. Kids throw tantrums and do bad things and make mistakes but it’s the parent’s job to correct those behaviors, and Caillou’s parents don’t do that.

In Bluey, her parents, Bandit and Chilli have their own personalities and struggles of been parents. They also have moments in some episodes where they have lessons to learn for themselves and some really significant character development.
First off, the characters in bluey have plenty of personalities and are very well developed that make us care for them. Second, I would take muffin over caillou, D.W. And Angelica any day. Because unlike those 3, muffin is actually funny and is properly disciplined more than those 3.

I was born in 96, grew up in the 2000's, and I am surprised I never knew Caillou was a thing until I watched a clip of Stephen Colbert making fun of Caillou as a 20 something year old.
When I saw this show as a toddler it made feel emotions that I didn’t fully understand at the time. Now that I am older I know what those emotions I felt really were… HATE!!! I still can’t believe that this show was developed by a child psychologist. Yes, toddlers do have under developed communication skills that are accurately portrayed in Caillou but there is one thing that REAL children do that separates this show from reality… LEARN!!! No matter how young you are as a child you still have the ability to learn and feel regret for past actions. Even babies as young as 2 years old are capable of developing and learning how to behave and is the reason why we have shows like this in the first place. Saying that this accurately depicts the behavioral development of children is undermining and insulting to the intelligence of young people.
This video was super well made!! But just a small correction Caillou's first voice actor didn't actually die. She actually went on to voice a few characters in different cartoons like Camp Lakebottom and the Hotel Transylvania animated series. It was actually Caillou's 2ND voice actor (the one in the sandbox clip) was the one that died. Other than that, your video was well edited and hilarious, hahaha. BTW I love your Scribblenauts avatar

I was born in 1996 and for as long as I could remember our family would hang out with another, due to their youngest son and my older brother going back as far as basically being born together. Their youngest son, Jereme (yeah that's right, I'm name-dropping you) treated me like garbage throughout most of my time knowing him, with my brother typically playing along as he has never been the fondest of me either. Bottom line, I was for years what they call a "butt monkey". I finally had enough after graduating high school in 2015. That year I had some crippling mental health issues due to insane OCD (for an example, I could barely even pour myself coffee without having to do it over and over) and borderline paranoid levels of anxiety. As such my grades suffered tremendously by the time I graduated. It was a pretty shitty time to be alive. After the fact, Jereme one night began taunting me about this, denying i had any issues with mental health and that I only struggled in school because I was lazy and unmotivated. I got livid, proceeded to give the most scathing "why you suck" speech i'll probably ever give right to his face, and to this day I have cut him from my life. Where am I going with this? Why am I sharing? Jereme LOVED Caillou in his youth (with my parents being skeptical about it due to the little bald shit's behavior). I am as certain as certain can be that this show helped form his entitled mindsets and god complex.

Alternatively you could put a kid on time out, and if the kid is calm and not going through a full blown meltdown, a parent may be able to calmly explain to the kid why what they did was wrong as children are more likely to correct their behavior in response to calm discourse instead of if they are yelled at. And as a joke, to paraphrase Your Favorite Martian, you could always "Spank your kid with a chainsaw." Look up Whip your Kids by that band if you havent already actually pretty funny.

When I saw this show as a toddler it made feel emotions that I didn’t fully understand at the time. Now that I am older I know what those emotions I felt really were… HATE!!! I still can’t believe that this show was developed by a child psychologist. Yes, toddlers do have under developed communication skills that are accurately portrayed in Caillou but there is one thing that REAL children do that separates this show from reality… LEARN!!! No matter how young you are as a child you still have the ability to learn and feel regret for past actions. Even babies as young as 2 years old are capable of developing and learning how to behave and is the reason why we have shows like this in the first place. Saying that this accurately depicts the behavioral development of children is undermining and insulting to the intelligence of young people.

I was born in 1996 and for as long as I could remember our family would hang out with another, due to their youngest son and my older brother going back as far as basically being born together. Their youngest son, Jereme (yeah that's right, I'm name-dropping you) treated me like garbage throughout most of my time knowing him, with my brother typically playing along as he has never been the fondest of me either. Bottom line, I was for years what they call a "butt monkey".
I finally had enough after graduating high school in 2015. That year I had some crippling mental health issues due to insane OCD (for an example, I could barely even pour myself coffee without having to do it over and over) and borderline paranoid levels of anxiety. As such my grades suffered tremendously by the time I graduated. It was a pretty shitty time to be alive. After the fact, Jereme one night began taunting me about this, denying i had any issues with mental health and that I only struggled in school because I was lazy and unmotivated. I got livid, proceeded to give the most scathing "why you suck" speech i'll probably ever give right to his face, and to this day I have cut him from my life.
Where am I going with this? Why am I sharing? Jereme LOVED Caillou in his youth (with my parents being skeptical about it due to the little bald shit's behavior). I am as certain as certain can be that this show helped form his entitled mindsets and god complex.

@@yasirabdi1622 Disciplining a child for misbehaving does mot mean yelling at the child. Yelling at a kid causes more problems then it solves. Hypothetically if I was still a kid (I am 27) and if I was using dishes as Frisbees shattering them against the wall, my parents would likely ground me for a week to show that what I did was wrong. Alternatively you could put a kid on time out, and if the kid is calm and not going through a full blown meltdown, a parent may be able to calmly explain to the kid why what they did was wrong as children are more likely to correct their behavior in response to calm discourse instead of if they are yelled at.
And as a joke, to paraphrase Your Favorite Martian, you could always "Spank your kid with a chainsaw." Look up Whip your Kids by that band if you havent already actually pretty funny.
