That's the way probability works, if there's something that has a 90% chance to occur, and it doesn't, it just happened to not occur. I can totally understand that people that have never tried psychedelics are like "hope u ok m8" but I don't understand why the rest is so confused. Read the title and the description. He is talking about the nonsense of society's standards and how absurd reality is during a mushroom trip wich is an experience that really shows you how absurd everything is and how unnatural the normal way of living is. I think he didn't plan this video as much as others. He's intention was to talk about our articicial ways while being on a psychedelic that allows him to see things from another perspective where he questions everithing like a child and behaves spontaneously. I also believe that he's on drugs because the bee thing distracted him from the topic and I know hard it is to focus. Adam, if you ever read this, I loved the video and I apreciate that you were able to "let go" and share this with us. And also the fact of people being confused about you being okay for acting this way really prooves what you are talking about, because it's not normal, it's not a video where you just stare in front of a camera and talk. The only thing that doesnt fit are you're pupils, they seem normal. Was it the light or something?

Hey Adam - Just wanted to say that although normally videos of people talking all deep and philosophical make me feel very skeptical and whatnot because most of the time it's people just making shit up because they had some crazy realization about something, I can really tell that you were just being your goofy self in this video, and for some reason I felt very touched by it. You knew exactly how this video looked to people who watched it, but in the spirit of the message you were trying to send, you didn't give a fuck! And I think it's videos like these that really end up helping people - and seeing someone able to truly accept themselves as they are gives hope to people like me who have generally low self esteem and social anxiety.

How you mentioned that everyone is always rushing to do something in life or worrying about things that are going to happen, I think shrooms, or psychedelics in general, are the best solution for this extremely common problem. You know the quote; "Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." I feel like psychedelics or even marijuana are the best forms of "Stopping to look around". They help you realize that life isn't just some giant mess that we're all forced to get through, but it's an experience in which we must cherish the best parts of it and realize that theres much more to life than just rushing through it and caring about what everyone else thinks.

You're more right that you think. Both of the substances listed do in fact disrupting our brain's default mode network, basically doing exactly what you described.
Meditation also does this in the long-term. Watching TV for example only requires your attention, and so your default mode network is overactive. Next thing you know it's been 3 hours but it felt like 30 minutes.

Read the description and havent seen the full video yet. Whats the point? Ah yes I have been asking myself that alot. Im 19. Into psychedelics and all that jazz and I really feel like I dont belong and have difficulty playing society’s game. Moved alone to the USA to have a better life only to see myself working all the time and not enjoying life. I find it pretty hard to make friends because so many people are actors not realizing the characters they’re playing. In 10 days I’m moving to another state to crash at a friends house till I can save some money up to go WWOOFING. Honestly sometimes I wish I could have that normal life and not be so aware but at the end of the day my purpose here is just to live, appreciate the fact that I’m alive and that the universe is beautiful. Hard not to worry when life is chaotic and you’re diving into the unknown abyss but sometimes you just have to let it all go and start flowing. Whatever happens, happens I guess. GL to you all on the journey to your destiny.

This is the result of heavy psychedelic use. I appreciate them, but you really only need to do them once or twice... There is a message, which can be achieved without substance.. relying on substance to get to this place shows deep misunderstanding of what it really means to become more awake.. if you need a drug to constantly get there, you are mistaken. If you listen the number of "I's", "Mes', and "mys" in this video, you might realize the ego inflation.. The reason that Psychedelics can trigger schizophrenia in people is because a schizophrenic battles with his ego, and psychedelics have a funny way of inflating it. It really is like having paralysis... having a glimpse into an awakened state, but not actually being able to move in it... psychedelics will create delusions in the mind... Theory is theory... be careful
As Alan Watts said, "once you get the message, hang up the phone". Once a boulder begins to roll down a mountain, it does not need any more force to push it further, it continues by itself; like you should down a mountain of spiritual insight. Trust the universe, it will give you the lessons you need when you need them.
There's not a point in killing your ego really. Atleast not a social, and we are social creatures. The fun is that killing the "mistakes" that human condition has and trying to really end with the sense of hierarchy (wich is produced by understanding that some things are better than others. Like people) just produces an apathic human. Trying to leave your human mistakes like ego behind because you think you can become somewhat of a god archetype is the true danger of psychedelics. What becomes of you in the end is a useless "wise" figure that will tell you the universe somewhat conspires to your well being, fooled by is own brain complexity and die without being noone and not caring about it, not even the universe cares really, only the loved ones sees that you have lost your humanity, if that is possible.
When you get the message and just hang the phone you dont get more calls, you need to give something back. Its like being gifted in a evolucionary sense and not having kids.
If you have had many psychedelic experiences you should be proud of them and tell the world that, we are humans still after all. If you try to look like somewhat of a god archetype you just end up looking silly (like being SO MUCH WISE now that you dont have an EGO. Hahaha), doesnt matter if youre proud of it or not.

I was highly anxious, over thinking, over worked and over stressed. Felt a strong hankering to take DXM and litterally had one of the most relieving and best trip experiences of my life. Took my mind off of everythings, popped on some headphones and went on a ride. It was beautiful.
Kinda crazy cuz, im a well experienced tripper on all substances and i usually hate DXM, but it was crazy cuz for some reason my body was craving for it. Took it, put on some head phones and good music. And ive been doing way better ever since.
Just needed to take a break from over thinking things and clear my mind.
