- When I was young I didn't know that it was possible to be a dog walker. Now, I'm so happy that I've found it. In this video, I outline the non-linear path that I took in order to become a dog walker.

Hey! Idk if you will even see this because your comment was made a while ago. I was just wondering how your dog walking venture went and is going? Did you start working for a company first and then start your own or did you just go straight to your own business? I am wanting to start my own but I don’t know which approach would be better.
I love this soooo much. I always wanted to be involved in dog rescue as well. right now I sell clothing online full time (resell from thrift stores) and i loveee it but i am still in love with the idea of being involved in rescues im starting out by donating to a new rescue each month and kinda sharing their story but im figuring out how to be more hands on with it...
You sound like my kinda girl! The nice thing about working for yourself is that you can tailor your schedule to fit in all of your interests! (or try to anyway lol). I love your idea of donating to a rescue every month
im 10 yrs old and im a dog walker and my first dog is a dog called alfie and im walking him for 3.00 for an hour! im walking him tommorow

Hey girl, Im Toni I just came across your chanel yesterday, and I've already watched like 15 of your videos, your very informative and thease videos are awsome as I am just starting my own lil dog walking biz now in port dover, I know u live in toronto so I'm sure you know where dover is now. Just wondering where u grew up cause u said it was on a farm, and maybe in the future one day we could meet up for a coffee or somthing , my brother lives in Toronto so I visit sometimes, we are similar age it seems and u have same dreams and passion as i do so I'll deffinatly keep updated with your videos! I appreciate your videos and tips. I've been wanting to start my own dog walking / sitting business for a while now. I have two jobs at the moment. However, this is my last week at my second job as I have already turned in my resignation. If all goes well, perhaps I will be able to quit the other job as well. Who knows? Time will tell. What program did you learn for the dog training

What program did you go to?
It's a program that's here in Canada, called Canine Academy. It's run by an AMAZING woman and her mentor. She has her masters in animal cognition, and her mentor has his Ph.D. in the same so it's heavily focused on the inner world of dogs
In Ruff Company thank you for the informative message. Right now, I am completing my Vet Assistant program with ABC. They also have a dog training program as I would like to learn a lot more.
The dog trainer at the dog walking company I worked for did her dog training certification at ABC! She loved it and is a fantastic trainer. Very good program.
