- A good friend, Wayne Duplisea, demonstrates his 1991 Ingersoll 3014 Garden Tractor. He talks about the history, starts it up, and shows us how it works.
It is equipped with a Briggs and Stratton 14 HP Vanguard Horizontal shaft engine and is probably one of the quietest tractor engines I've heard.

Nice example of the "baby" of the Case Ingersoll line, this video is 15 years old and they still bring the same money or more today. We have around 65 of them, you can not beat them!

never see to many 14hp horizontal v-twins. i love the sound when he first starts it up. has a nice low growl to it.

Thats the best running Briggs I ever heard
These are built like brick shit houses, very heavy duty capable machines. I just picked one up in excellent condition for $100 it was a steal. Worth quite a bit more, a 3016 with hydraulic lift and all that. The tires were messed up but I got those situated. 👍😎💯
i have to say i have only heard a few twinns that sounded good and that engine sounds good, i heard a few kohlers 27hp engines sound nice, but that lil 14 sounds great, great vid,
I like Wheel Horse a lot more than the other lawn and Garden Tractor I have a Wheel Horse RJ58 and a John Deere E 120 Home Depot 🐴🐴🐴
Everyone has their favorites. The GE Elec-trak units I have are promising, but looking forward to getting a 60s/70s Cub Cadet with a 3 speed.
Just an FYI for you viewers, this tractor and the mowing deck, single stage snow blower, wheel weights and tire chains, two push mowers, a pull behind spreader, roller, aerator, and a trailer to haul it all are for sale by Wayne. I own a very similar 3012 with a vanguard ...I believe mine is a 1992 .....currently has 360 hours. The machine is in excellent condition (nicer than this video). Engine just seized last night ....not sure whats wrong :(
That tractor is in very nice condition and runs great and quiet. About how much do you think he'd want for it?

Yeah...he's moving and will try to sell the stuff with the house. The tractor (with mowing deck/snowblower), tiller, 2 push mowers.

For everything he's asking $3000. I didn't ask individual prices but I'm sure he's not going to sell any of it until he sells his house. If the people moving in don't want the stuff, he's gonna store them and sell them separately. I myself have been eying the tractor, not that I need another one.
