He does, he looks like he's just sick with grief. Anyone who's been a fan of Dog The Bounty Hunter knows how dearly Beth loved her Dwane. She would hate for him to live the rest of his years on this earth in so much agony. My heart goes out to him, I can't even imagine the level of suffering that he's been living in.
Yes indeed he has a lot on his mind as the bills are stacking up with no means to pay them! That relationship with Moon cost him a lot including his television series with WGN! Now he's busy trying to do damage control hoping they're going to call him on the phone and say your show has been reinstated but that's not going to happen he's finished it's over! He probably will be extremely lucky if he can just keep his house in Colorado! At this point this man is finished and he knows it!

The family don't have to like it but no point in blowing up what's left of the family over it. I seen it happen first hand after a death ( for different reasons). Imagine you are forced to watch someone you love with your whole heart die every day getting worse and worse. That person has been your everything, the light in your life. Then when they are gone your entire world crashes on top of you. Nothing anyone can say helps, you are reminded of that person every single waking moment. You see look alikes of them, you smell their scent, songs remind you of them...nothing you can do, no way to get away from the grief. This is what Dog is going through. Ive gone through it myself. We love you Mr. Chapman.
This COMPLETELY changed my outlook on Dog... I'm so used to the tough guy, celebrity bounty hunter... He is a real person. He is genuine and he is truly suffering.

It’s because he feels close to Beth when he’s close to Moon. That’s it. You cannot understand the depths of his pain unless you’ve been there. When you lose someone who is literally your heart, and you no longer can see them or hear them or find them anywhere on the earth, the pain is unbearable. He’s just trying to make it day by day.

Annie Aviles, you sound like somebody who has never been there and done that. i'll bet you haven't . life is a rough road with too many bad exits. dwelling on the loss of somebody dear is a killer but you must march on or die of sorrow. you make it sound like Dog lost a child. he lost his "mate", which is nowhere close to losing a child. real love is for offspring not a "mate". you cant divorce or break up with your child and they're not replaceable. a "mate" is replaceable . nowadays, 97% of woman get tired of their mate for selfish reasons and want out of the relationship when it is basically the opposite for the man. you dont know the first thing about what goes through a man's mind when he loses his "lovey dovey" (divorce, breakup, or death) and he's got to start all over again. Dog does not need a woman who is young enough to be his granddaughter....he needs one his own age. Dog has mental issues and he needs to deal them like a mature adult. sad what happened to Beth, but any strong man can get over a loss like her, believe me, but dog aint strong enough...grabbing for the closest opportunity...desperation is weakness. .

What DOG is doing finding someone to fill Beth shoes. Yes it is terrible to be lonely. I know that feeling when i lost my beloved husband. I felt the some way as DOG did. But no one can place your beloved spouse. You need to have friends there for you. Also talking to shrink is not crazy. I have done it. It has been a little four years now. I thought about dating again. But that is another issue with how the whole is today. Oh by the way my beloved husband said the same thing. He wanted me to be happy and not alone. Dog it is going to take time. There is no limit to grieving.

She isn't grieving the same way he is so she is more realistic about their relationship at this point. I think it would be a good match in its own time and I can understand him wanting someone like Moon who knew and loved Beth, but he needs to see and want her for who she is, not just to try to fill a void. I think they'll work it out, and it isn't up to his kids what he does romantically.

My Dad went through the same thing with the closest and the clothing when my stepmother died. After we went through that he was so much better and really was able to start healing alittle more. I see so much of my Dad in Dog.❤

Dog also is the one who told Moon to put her things in the closet. I do agree that maybe Dog's things should have gone in that closet. Moon is saving Dog's life by being there for him. Finding yourself all alone in a big dark world when you have suddenly lost your soul mate, your best friend, is the loneliest place a human being can ever be in because no one else can ever fill that void. I empathize with Dog, I know what that type of loneliness feels like. I wish him Love, happiness, and strength.

I so agree. Dog and Beth had children together. I truly believe if his adult children took turns to stay with him, he would do so much better. I think his life would somewhat turn back to normal and he would experience some happiness, and joy again. He is so very hurt and lonely, and I think he needs to be watched, because from the video, I feel he at times is suicidal. I feel for him so much dealing with the pain from losing his wife and best friend. Dog loved Beth with his whole heart and she was and still is his soulmate.
I understand his pain, because when my momma passed away, my daddy was absolutely devastated. He grieved so much that he lost so much weight and became emaciated, because he would not eat. He lost his will to live. My twin sister, little brother, and I got daddy on antidepressants and his life changed for the better. He had a will to live and to be happy again. He lived for his children. My daddy did not want to remarry or have a girlfriend. His soulmate and best friend was my mother. They married very young, so that is all he knew was my momma. They were two peas in a pod.

Paulina Harley 77 It's weird. I watched the show a lot when it first came on but I got bored of it and haven't seen it in years. But one thing I always felt watching it was that Beth loved Dog a lot more than Dog loved Beth. To see him this broken is a little surprising to me and I wonder if some of it is guilt over not treating her as well as she treated him. I know he loved her but he didn't seen to like her very much sometimes. I've read all these comments online about how much Dog worshipped Beth and what a love story theirs was, since Beth's death. I haven't wanted to to be disrespectful by talking about that but it's made me wonder reading all of that if anyone out there ever saw what I did.

RoseMarie Mastro-Watanabe Did you say that same thing about Dr Oz telling Dog that he was "a ticking time bomb" and that he needed to get off of the cigarettes and take care of his heart? Do you expect Dr Oz to shut up, mind his own business and let Dog live the way he wants to live? Saying that I think that Dog is screwed up right now and needs to see a doctor for clinical depression isn't exactly "judging him". I empathize with him. I've had two traumatic losses that have thrown me into major depressive episodes and I don't want that for anyone else. It's hard to see when you're in such deep grief that your brain chemistry has actually changed and you aren't just grieving, you're depressed. Your gut reaction is "Of course I'm depressed, my daughter just died!" I wish someone would've been able to help me with the depression aspect so the grief wouldn't have been quite so paralyzing. It makes no sense to me that you'd rather Dog stay in the turmoil he's in right now than to let people who've been where he was say how he can get out of it.

You can see that Dog is a very caring person with alot of emotions. He truly loves his Wife very much. So sad that an amazing couple that had so much love for each other and respect, for her to be called Home so early in Life, which is obviously tearing Dog apart in more ways than one. Lyssa is used to getting what she wants when it comes to her Dad,l lost my son and my Dad was murdered I know real Grief,and where Beth is now she's not caring about all this...if she looked down and saw him Sad Grieving and Suffering she wouldn't care what it took to make him happy, who loves Beth now that shes dead,but treated like dirt even worse and the posts,ugh! 🤦♀️

Losing Beth is hard on all of us that loved her. I have never met Dog or Beth but I have considered them my TV parents for years. I still cry when I think about her or when I watch a Dog episode! Love you Beth!
Everyone needs to understand as harsh as it sounds,, that Dog is not the one that died, he needed to rejoin the living, the man will ALWAYS love Beth ,,Beth was and is his soul mate,,please understand everyone, Moon is his Savior, he wasnt far from suicide,,,,she is trying to pull him out of the pit of oveqwhelming dispair he was in,, why is everyone being so mean and hateful to this woman ,do you not understand that she was friends with Beth, that she was one of Beths best friends ,do you really think that if she was a bad person that Beth would have ever been friends with her? Or that Beth would have had her in the same house with her children? Beth was a very wise woman you're just insulting her by saying what you're saying about her friend. @Sarah Dotson She was close friends with both of them, and she only sat on his bed to watch tv with him. There’s no betrayal in this situation, betrayal would be IF moon wasn’t friends with dog prior. She was close to both and she came to give her support as would any friend!
He is lonely. She is just a friend and needs to stay a friend. He is trying find some to place Beth. I have gone through what Dog has gone through. It going to take some time for him with the grieving. By the way Moon has packed her stuff and moved out.

Dog, you've been in grief too long. Although everyone grieves differently perhaps you should find a grief support group. Beth is at rest. She would not want you to be suffering. Honor her by living your best life. Feel better soon Dog. Bless your heart. I hate to see you in so much emotional pain.

This is so sad that someone has to go through a loss like this and then publically explain what they are going through. What they smell, why they cry, and do you even comprehend how hard it is for a man like Dog to have to ask Moon for help to this extent? Dog certainly wears his heart on his sleeve & always has. he loved & still loves Beth but he is allowed to love others too his is only human
He’s moving on in the only way he can :( sometimes people will be with someone else to fill the void... as harsh as it is.. he’s just getting through this and he’s not gonna get through it for a while... my heart goes to him and his family ❤️😞

Leave this beautiful man alone. For whatever years he has left, let them be with a woman who at least understands him, his pain, his eternal love for Beth, and hos desire to keep people around that knew Beth. Dog,I know exactley what your going through, I lost my husband December 31,2017 to stage 4 lung cancer that he never knew he had.He went for so many chest x rays that year and found nothing[somebody at that hospital sure did screw up] than december 11th he got admitted to the hospital because he was having a hard time breathing and they diagnosed him with pneumonia and that's when they found a black spot in his right lung.Two days later they did a biopsy on it and that's when it spread.He was gone in 2 weeks.Now I wish they didn't do the biopsy,maybe we would of had him a little longer.But I miss him so much,still have some of his clothes here which I can't part from.But if having moon there with you helps you get through each day,than you do that.

The enormity of the emptiness after losing the love of your life is something that takes some people years to begin to cope, to get to hope that life can once again be full of joy and peace. When family members have their own grief to work through but feel no shame calling out another family member for trying anything they can to move forward, that is adding tragedy on top of tragedy. Death can bring families together just as easily as it can tear them apart.
My heart hurts for the entire Chapman family. I pray that the family can come back together in time to keep it from being so damaged they will never be able to get past their soul shaking tragedy and be loving to each other once again.
So sad for him. He is lonely and just trying to feel something so that he can feel okay. It's a rebound. Thats all it is.
