  • John Oliver outlines what, exactly is problematic about Dr. Oz and the nutrition supplement industry. Then he invites George R.R. Martin, Steve Buscemi, the Black and Gold Marching Elite, and some fake real housewives on the show to illustrate how to pander to an audience without hurting anyone.

Anyone else sitting in quarantine binge watching all these old episodes of John Oliver or just me?

This hits so good after seeing Oz getting his butt handed to him in the election.

And now, Dr. Oz is running for a Senate seat in my state in 2022. Oddly enough, he doesn't even live here. I wonder if there's a magic bean for that!

Important to rewatch now that Oz has announced he's running for political office. Main lesson: Oz is full of it

Who’s here after Dr. Oz started running for Congress as an antivaxxer Republican?

"If one in three milk bottles didn't contain milk, you'd think twice about pouring that white mystery liquid over your cereal," He says as I take a bite of my Lucky Charms. Great.

Watching this after Oz tried and failed to become a mayor Republican representative feels a bit odd but satisfying. An empty man, going full circle and drowning in shit

Watching this again to celebrate Dr. Oz's defeat in Pennsylvania.

I am 100% sure that Steve Buscemi's tap dancing is way more magical and good for your health, than Dr. Oz's Nutritional Supplements.

I like how George R. R. Martin's greeting is, "I just killed three of your favorite characters."

Dr Oz has two ivy league degrees, yet he speaks nothing but utter bullshit on TV

Although this show was made 7 years ago this issue continues . It continues more than ever. Thank you for this info with such serious comedy. 👍

"Like the sunlight shines on the hidden, grassy meadow, so does chlamydia cast a warm glow on your private parts." That is such a Monty Python-esque moment.

All of John Oliver's shows are still great but this one aged perfectly given that Oz is running for office

I feel so guilty, I lived in California at the time and I signed a petition to help keep the FDA out of the way of natural supplements. I was 20, pregnant and convinced by the store owner who said the FDA would add foods we normally eat such as garlic or honey to the list of "Must Be Tested For Veracity". Sigh...........never sign a petition under duress.

As an analytical chemist, I tested a supplement produced by 10 different companies that supposedly had the same active ingredient that claimed to lose weight. Nine of the 10 of those supplements did not even have the active ingredient.
