- One year ago, Russia launched its illegal invasion of Ukraine. As their forces continue to relentlessly attack the country, Russian officials keep spreading blatant lies and disinformation about their brutal war against a peaceful country.
Russia claimed it had no plans to attack Ukraine, and yet it did. Russia claimed it would not target civilians, while many civilians have been killed and wounded, with hospitals, homes, schools and critical infrastructure destroyed across the country. Despite the Kremlin’s continued litany of lies, denials and disinformation, their real intentions are clear for the world to see.
As Russia launches new offensives, NATO Allies stand in solidarity with Ukraine and will support Ukraine for as long as it takes.

Most people don’t care about making nato strong. They just wanted international boundaries respected and Russia out of ukraine, not rewarded with land for their invasion otherwise they’ll risk future dictators doing the same as Russia.

@@Morally_Immoral2 we were not in the USSR. Fun fact we were quite independent from the soviets in the cold war unlike other countries. But no Romania was not part of the USSR

You guys need to protect Moldova, potentially even reintegrating Moldova with Romania, just like it was before WW2. Moldova would win immediate EU and NATO integration, and undo the Stalinist geographical engineering of splitting nations and colonizing terrotories with russians.

Let's all take a moment to note the complete lack of tanks involved in Finland's *application* to join, and that it even required the approval of bad actors. No missiles were necessary. No mass murder of civilians. No rape clinics. And no children were abducted. Finland exercised its sovereignty to choose its alliances, as all countries can do under the UN Charter **signed by Russia**.
Russia acts like their allies are really their allies, when in reality, they would be invaded if they changed sides. They're bullied into submission.

Russia is claiming amongst other things that Ukraine is a part of Russia and also now that ukraine has attacked Russia.
I think that the Russians should be asked the following question during a suitably high level meeting with Russian officials .
What other territories currently not recognised as russian dies Russia claim as Russian. All and any ex soviet countries might fall into this category.

Allies must keep helping Ukraine. If the Allies had acted quickly enough during the war in the Balkans, we would not have had 10 years of genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing committed by Serbs during the Serbian aggression against Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. Slava Ukraini!

Why doesn't NATO openly convey and include ukraine as a member of NATO if it really cares about Ukraine?
Ukraine cannot join NATO because they are currently in a conflict, only countries with calm borders are allowed to join. To make the borders calm again, we must give Ukraine all the weaponry necessary to completely annihilate the invaders, and establish Ukraine's membership in NATO.
NATO is not a monolith. Each individual member state must approve any new members. And the existing members are not going to approve Ukraine joining and put themselves all of the sudden in a land war with Russia.
But if I had a say, I'd just send tiny little blue men with blue airplanes, withou badges or flags to just help Ukraine, the same way little green men took over Crimea.
Well, for one, Ukraine's military doesn't meet NATO's criterias. NATO militaries need to be inter-operable, including training, tactics and logistics, all the way to the caliber of the weapons they use.

Thank you Nato for protecting small countries like Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia from the Russian aggression. Without Nato, the war could have been expanded to these countries by now.
