Not only that, but the attention 30 years after the song was written and the publicity......I think you will agree that it is a very well written song.(Gentry received a Grammy nomination for her effort).. And I am ecstatic that Reba got so many others to hear it. . It is not one vs the other, it is a symbiotic relationship and they BOTH KNOW it. And the fans come out on top!

I think for their times (Bobbie and Reba) they both sang it the best. Bobbie sang it the best when she put it out and when Reba did her version was best cause it fit the times better. Personally I like Rebas bit we all have different tastes.
