Really loved the video! The accessories on your Lectric bike look awesome, and I'd definitely love to see a separate video all about them. Please make it happen
This video is very helpful. My wife and I are considering getting a Lectric ebike for her so we can go on adventures together. Having your wife give her point of view with her experience, likes and dislikes, how and when to shift, etc., is super helpful. We want to ride together, and I want to make it as easy as possible for her, so she enjoys it w/o having to think too much about settings, shifting, etc. Also, a video about the accessories on the bike would be great as well. Great job and thx. =D
I actually just learned about Lectric One from this video. Very interesting ebike. I'm not a handy person but due to necessity, learned to maintain my own bikes. And I still hate the drivetrain part the most. The internal gearhub/box is a top feature of my dream bike for sure. Question, how do you feel about riding 20-inch tires? I have normal bikes and a Brompton. And unlike most people, I don't really like riding the brompton due to the 16-inch tires. It's twitchy (for me) and you feel all the road imperfections and debris. The tire size is the main concern for me about getting a Lectric One.
As much as I love Lectric as a company, the One should have front suspension. Even sidewalks in my town have severely broken concrete, while the streets have drain grates and manholes.
I don't have suspension on my 3 ebikes. One ebike does have a Lectric suspension seatpost. I didn't want the extra weight and something that could fail.
This is a good review. 99% just take it for a spin and review. Living through using it various ways and more than one "battery charge" are more useful to use than cannot try out every bike. The zero to twenty tests ignore that every stop sign is an experience and can drain the battery.
On the settings resetting after a power cycle. This is a known problem with some displays. I have the same display on my Xpress 750 and it does the same. I reached out to Lectric, shared a vid of it resetting, and they're sending out a replacement. It hasn't yet shipped so I imagine they're still receiving / QAing the new displays, but that should solve it
I have an xp lite 2.0 jw black, my display was not saving the settings as described in the manual, I called Lectric and they sent me out a new display, now my settings save! I have one other issue where my speedometer displays 0 mph when in PAS 0 under 7mph, once I hit 7, the display will show the speed. Also over 20mph my display will show I’m doing 19-20, but GPS shows 25/26 down hill. They are sending me out a new controller to see if that resolves that issue, if not they will send out a new motor, could be the speed sensor in the motor. At least they are a good company when it comes to customer service. Helpful. Just long wait times on shipping and back order items.
Lectric is not just " a good company". They are among the top 10 of ebike support, mostly by having US headquarters and US sales support all in one spot- Arizona.
interested in the One and XP 3.0. plan to use the majority of the time on smooth, unpaved forest service/campground dirt roads. not planning on using on single track, roots, or rocky surfaces. does the One's lack of a suspension fork and narrower tires tip the preference scales to the XP 3.0?
I just got my electric one e-bike, and I've noticed that the throttle lever always provides 100% power. There's no way to squeeze the lever 50% to add 50% power. Are you noticing the same thing on your Lectric one bike?
Yeah, that issue with the settings not being preserved -- I have a ONE, have set P8 to 45 the day I got it (back in July), and have had the bike powered down and the battery removed many, many times -- and it's never lost the setting. (nor have any of my other settings)
I have about 50 miles on my Lectric ONE so far. I really like it but have one issue that I don’t like. The handle bars feel a little loose to me. When I’m riding I feel like I need to grip with both hands all the time or the bike might stray left or right. Maybe it has something to do with the foldable option of the handle bars. Any thoughts? Thanks!
good video review. nice when we see a long term review. the other ones seems less real. Does it bother you to not have your legs in full extension? And going 28mph, would you consider riding a full face helmet for safety at those speeds?
Thanks! Yes, always a bit tricky when we get only a few hours with a pre-production model. Leg extension wise I've felt good even on some longer rides. I'd definitely go with a NTA 8776 helmet, full face optional. I have a full face helmet, it's just very hot and heavy. I also like some of the helmts with built in visors that I hope to try.
...have you reached out to Lectric about the issue you mentioned at 9:02 regarding the top speed resetting after turning off the bike? This honestly might be a dealbreaker for me, I assume this is some sort of software bug. I want to be able to jump on and ride without fiddling with settings each ride.
This, with the main reason being the belt drive and drivetrain. I value never having to worry about a chain quite a bit. Riding position/suspension/comfort wise I prefer the XPress 750 though this does feel a bit more nimble.
Exciting bike for all the tech at this price and its a sleeper being cooler than it looks. But, a lot antitech people now who want simple and reliable. And I sounds the battery range isn't good
Levi and Robbie promised that they would find a suitable 3rd party suspension fork in early videos. They are on the Lectric website still. I have communicated in regard to this and cue the sound of crickets. I am communicating with Bucklo and they were prompt with a reply and impressed me. I live in Denver and it is very rough. Super disappointed in Lectric. I bought the Xpremium and it is the proverbial “redheaded step child”. I challenge you to find anything on the website about this model. I bought 2 of Lectric’s flagship models (Xpremium and One) with a combined cost of almost $5,000 and they treat me like this? Pathetic.
We haven't had any issues on our XPedition on over 500+ miles. Another member of the team has the same and another one has put over 600 miles on his 3.0.

We will try!
Your wife did a good job. She deserves her own channel.
You're not wrong 😀 I try to bring her on as much as I can because she rides just as much as I do.
Thanks again Ebike Escape
Thanks for watching!

This seems to be a common sentiment from riders. Hoping for version 2 Lectric has that on the list!
I don't have suspension on my 3 ebikes. One ebike does have a Lectric suspension seatpost. I didn't want the extra weight and something that could fail.
Definitely do an accessory video. Thank you.👍
Will do our best!

You are correct - we have a new display on the way!
@@EbikeEscape I just got a shipping notice too, should get it Tuesday!
Good to know that it's not the expected behavior! Thanks.

Awesome to hear!
Lectric is not just " a good company". They are among the top 10 of ebike support, mostly by having US headquarters and US sales support all in one spot- Arizona.
It would be nice if someone made a video how to take off the back rim on the electric one.

would love to see the different bags that would look good on that rear rack
Will try to do an accessory video
yeah, do an accessory video

BEST BIKE

Thanks - yes we're getting a new display.
I very much want to know the bag setup on the front of your Lectric One

I love her accent!
I'll let her know! 😁
These settings like the P08 Class 3 setting are saved by changing the setting and turning the screen off and back on. Otherwise, they will not stick.
In this case it was due to a faulty display so we are getting a new one.
How do both of you like having the basket mounted on the front of the One?
Love it! We use it all of the time.
...have you reached out to Lectric about the issue you mentioned at 9:02 regarding the top speed resetting after turning off the bike?
This honestly might be a dealbreaker for me, I assume this is some sort of software bug. I want to be able to jump on and ride without fiddling with settings each ride.
I've not experienced that bug, and I've put well over 100 miles on mine... 🤷♂
Yes, it's all sorted out now - the issue is in the display so it should be fixed.
is it possible to go 15 mph on pedal assist one on the highest gear? Great video though👍
Do you like this bike or the express 750 better?
This, with the main reason being the belt drive and drivetrain. I value never having to worry about a chain quite a bit. Riding position/suspension/comfort wise I prefer the XPress 750 though this does feel a bit more nimble.
How long is that Bikase seat post? The stock is like 500mm, so wondering if that suspension is long enough to extend far enough for me.
8:16 No cop, no stop 😐
Nice Video are you guys out of Mequon Wisconsin?
Wausau actually
Do you guys sell any of those nice T-shirts or sweatshirts that you are wearing in the videos?
We do not currently, just not enough volume to justify. Perhaps someday...
Exciting bike for all the tech at this price and its a sleeper being cooler than it looks. But, a lot antitech people now who want simple and reliable. And I sounds the battery range isn't good
Agreed minus the range - I think it's plenty for most use cases.

Check out the JUnit Comp 20
Overkill?
It's over kill, I mostly don't need to shift. So, I don't want to buy and expensive shifter.
You didn’t tell us she had a bakery back there??!!!
How do Lectric bikes do over time? Do they have good longevity?
We haven't had any issues on our XPedition on over 500+ miles. Another member of the team has the same and another one has put over 600 miles on his 3.0.
Its 5 gears LOL.
It would be nice if someone made a video how to take off the back rim on the electric one.
