@@thekxngofmix you don't always need to match the keys... Shoot I know I don't always look at that stuff especially if the dancefloor is going im playing music that will keep that going, sometimes those transitions get the best reactions instead of trying to match the same beat to the same beat

If your doing a live gig I wouldn’t do djay studio mix alone. But a mix is good if you gotta go to the bathroom. But DJing live is a different beast. You will request or people may want to hear a different genre. You have to be ready for the switch up.
Yeh that’s what I was thinking…I’ll hit like %70 percent of the song. I’ll more than likely end up adding way more 50 extra tracks realistically. Probably an extra 100 when it’s all said and done

That’s what I did. I just didn’t want to hit a patch where I don’t have an idea of what to play next…it’s more so a nervous thing
And also I use it as a way to quickly find songs in the same key as each other that way I can do live mashup while I mix and cut to the next track.

Yeh. Ima be doing it live. And that’s good point on the request or even just reading the room.
Remember you aren’t playing full songs. So cut that play time in half
