I use the EE mount. I added another strap through the slots on the sides. I needed small spacers and longer screws for the brake line and odo cable. My juice bottle for bar oil just sits under the round saw handle. A couple pieces of fuel hose hold the scrench and file. The straps can interfere with full steering lock a little. Ive thought of using hose clamps to totally eliminate movement on the forks. Also our club saw I mostly use is the ms170, I just gave it a little tlc after I beat it up last Sunday.
we use a big hiking backpack. also started using electric pruning saws with oil containers on them too they work amazing. ECHO - CS-2511T with 14 or 16" bar. Tuned up. Keeps the bike weight down and still allows us to do hard enduro with them not weighing down the bikes and messing with front end handling.
On Old Yeller, (DRZ400 E) I strap my saw to the rear rack with a section of inner tube as a cushion/grip pad and 3 short bungee cords. I've also hauled it in a backpack.
A downed tree turned me around today. With that being said, it was my first non-track ride since November! Very little snow bashing and the ride was epic. Dirt bikes!!
I used to use the EE mount a few years ago. Good all around mount and really universal. I switched to the Midwest Mountain Engineering Trailfast mount and never looked back. By far the best mount on the marketbif a person runs a saw that is not a top-handle. I run a Stihl MS261 with a 20" bar. We cut a ton up here in Washington, so it pays to run a bigger saw with the trailfast mount. No bungee cord BS and it is mounted so sturdy with no movement. One flip of the clasp and the saw is off in your hand in 1 second. U should check out the mount.
I have a Bill Dart mount that stays on the TE-300 Had it since 2016 on 3 different bikes. Also have a EE that I use on another KTM on occasion. Both mounts have a Baja designs light that I have harnesses for the light that I have scabbed off of busted KTM lights so it is plug and play. Satisfied with both.
Thanks for sharing! For the last two years I've been using that EE mount with the Stihl MS170, it's a really nice setup! This spring just switched to a more low profile chainsaw mount from Trailbound with the Stihl MS194T and that is awesome combination too. What are those upper fork guards you have on there? How thick are they? Are they 3D printed?
I ride with an MS170 in a backpack. It works great for me. I keep the saw in the pack, so I just throw it on and go. No need to talk a mount on and off.

I have the same set up. Works great!
Top handle saws are the best

A guy had one this weekend. I was actually imoressed with the amount if work it was able to do in a few batteries
i carry my saw on my back.
And electric chainsaws are god awful in comparison.
