Probably. Most Poles however avoid east and thus lithuania and 90% of us never been there so a lot of people think Lithuania is like Belarus with huts and babushkas everywhere. I don't think the stupidity is limited to lithuania. But as a Pole it was shocking for me to hear that. I mean she after all lives in Lithuania
Hello sis! I don't see anything wrong with calling Poland a village. I love villages! :)) Besides, 3/5 Poles do not even know where Lithuania is (excluding people from the northeast of the country) and have no opinion about this state. People in Poland are only interested in Western Europe or the USA, they forget that beyond the eastern borders there are also beautiful countries and wonderful people. I'm a British delivery driver and work in Vilnius. The US embassy over there is large and rests between the 'Horns' of Tauro Hill. (You can google map this to see. Anyway, the US has a great rapport with Lithuania and only last April there was a big parade that included the US military and their vehicles and the Lithuanians really loved their appearance. You see many US tourists in Lithuania and there are many bars that copy the American theme. There is also an area called Uzipus which is a 'country' within Vilnius and has its own 'constitution'.
This was filmed in the center of the capital, which is full of hipsters. So in this video it looks like the country is full of these people. But in the other neighbourhoods and cities people look much more casual than that :D

Kudos to the Lithuanian people!! 👍😊 I was surprised by the people's answers. Most of them said no country. And anyone that mentioned a country, it was not the people they disliked, but the regime in that country. 👍 So yeah, it shows that Lithuanian people are open to other people and their countries. Not many nationalities are like this. 😊
Lithuanian here, everybody who say “maybe.. well..” and then shy off, want to say russia or belarus. But they shy away because they don’t know how to express the complexity of the feeling. They don’t want to be perceived as hating on the nation. I think one of the guys put it best: i love Russian people and Belarusian people, but i dont like their regimes (Putin and Lukoshenko). And thats a common sentiment in lithuania. Having dictators and autocrats for neighbours is unsettling to us.
Sure they do, victims of cheap lithuanian propaganda. "Russians are attacking" for 30 years now. Grow up. Go ask around more mature people, would they prefer good diplomatic and trade relationships with all neighbor countries , cheap gas, cheap electricity, transit income, OR some stupid struggle for illusionary "democracy" against so called "dictators".
@@SanguineSacrament I get where you're coming from, but there actually are dictators still. If you really don't believe me, just search up "current dictators".
@@SanguineSacrament i love how the typical Kremlin bot account always has the same layout: 1. pretend that the Baltics are hysterical about kremlin aggression (even though kremlin invaded several sovereign nations that did not join NATO in the last decades), 2. Lure with promises of material wealth if we go about “business as usual” (even though kremlin is much more dependent on west buying from them than west is on kremlin). 3. Pretend that the struggle between kremlin autocracy and western democracy is “an illusion” (as always, kremlin has no morals or scruples, and thus expect the rest of the world to legitimise their mafia-state as they hold the russian peoples hostage).
@@templecreations2351 I love how a typical Baltic brainwashed pseudo-patriot always misses the point and only has Russia in his head. Think more about Lithuania maybe? "Kremlin bot" labeling and posting propaganda from your TV is kinda pathetic. Talk about your inner problems, some of them are direct result of your failed diplomacy and russophobia. IMHO, a small country like yours should think on how to establish good diplomatic relationship with all countries, especially with neighbours - to maximise benefits for yourself, to improve quality of live for the citizens (again, trade and transit, cheap gas and electricity). Build some strong industry, produce something that is in demand, make profit and then really become independent? Pseudo-patriots like you don't get it. It's better to kneel and beg for another loan from EU, right? So tell me, are you enjoying fruits of your foreign affairs now? The increase in prices for gas and electricity, that will follow with another increase closer to autumn? The uncontrollable stream of immigrants, which you can't even stop without Belarus border guards? And are you sure all your fellow citizens support this russophobic lunacy and invasion of other countries inner affairs for this kind of result? Think about that next time you think of yourself as some kind of democracy-bearing liberator.

Well from my perspective of Poland Lithuania has nothing to offer, I have never been there but I have met people from Lithuania in England and based on my zero knowledge about this country apart of common history I would describe this country as a big village with potato fields that has nothing to offer and suicide rate is so high. I know probably is not true but I have never been there and that's jsut pieces of information that creates picture of that country in my mind but I will definitely visit because I like to be surprised and I know it is probably opposite to my imagination
@@szymongustab4002 Well that's not very nice to say, but okay. I dont care
I think the girl who compared poland to village probably drove through the country many times. Since us lithuanians have to transit whole poland to get to western europe it feels like neverending agriculture field :D but the cities are really awesome, small villages are fun to walk in as well :) and of course amazing Tatra mountains ❤
It's sad, but I think it's due to a lack of willingness to get to know each other better. People in Poland are only interested in Western Europe or the USA, they forget that beyond the eastern borders there are also beautiful countries and wonderful people. I love Lithuania and I have some good friends there, especially one girl in Taurage. ;)) But that's a completely different story ... :)) Greets and kisses!
@@lewandinho It is true, I am from Wrocław and I would never go to Lithuania, Ukraine, Latvia, etc., and adding the Czech Republic because it seems poor and behind other countries. In my city such countries are called villages 🤔 When I found out that Ukraine has nice buildings, I was shocked because only ruins are shown on TV. Poland is a border connecting poor and rich Europe, so I think that Poles from the richer side of Poland do not dream of Eastern Europe and are more interested in richer countries. If I told someone that I was on holidays in Lithuania, they would think that I simply cannot afford, for example, a trip to France :/

Mm, and also the history between us. But we are all well aware that there are nice people :))
LITHUANIA TALKS 🇱🇹 Walking the streets of Vilnius to get the Lithuanian opinions to share with you. Do you have a country you don’t like? Which and why?
Maybe a little bit india
North korea due to brutal government
When you will come to Scotora 🇾🇪?
@Manish Pradhan there is rubbish everywhere without exception, place you go place that's full crowded, everyone looks to you like you are an alien or something which isn't very comfortable, you can barely walk, people spits a lot in the streets, etc.
Im from Vilnius but you should have went to Kaunas bud, thats where the culture and laid back people are.
Aw it's good to know I come from a generally nice and pleasant people!
I also agree with anyone who said they don't like Russia or Belarus.
Lithuanians look happy and energetic
