1:08 It makes me smile to imagine the person who designed those cards watching 5ds and freaking out to see their own cards being used by the main character
Actually Air Neos is in Yugioh Legacy of the Duelist which is even weirder. And Kazuki Takahashi stated he based the Elemental Heroes more on Japanese heroes, rather than American heroes.
Elemental HERO: They were designed by Kazuki Takahashi, and are themed after comic-book superheroes in the anime and are based off natural elements in the manga. Destiny HERO: These cards resemble British anti-heroes and there are several references to British culture within the cards. Evil HERO: The designs of the "Evil HERO" monsters bear some similarity to various demonic superheroes, villains, and antiheroes, such as The Darkness, Hellboy, and Witchblade. Masked HERO: While the "Elemental HERO" archetype is said to be based off of American superheroes, it can also be assumed that the "Masked HERO" archetype is a salute to the Japanese Tokusatsu series Kamen Rider.
Thanks for so many interesting shorts and trivia facts. Always nice to watch. Learned many new things. And please keep up with it. We need more of those.
I loved this video, good presentation and sometimes the duels in the background.. I can't imagine how many hours it took you to make this masterpiece. Thank you
Theres tons of doppelgangers in the older sets. If you play the old video games almost every monster has a double counterpart. Sometimes the same type, sometimes not. In english sometimes we get cards named like winged dragon guardian of the fortress #1 and 2, but in the Japanese version they just have normal names and all the older cards have pairs like that.
Got an idea for a (Can be in duel link or master duel)series Basically you get 4 decks of a character, each representing one of the main arcs of their show Then after you lose one duel you use the deck from the next arc If you run out of decks you lose What do y'all think?
0:01 Well if the OG Air Neos is off the table because of circumstances outside of Konami’s own control, why not simply make a reprint with a different name and artwork but all the same effects? I don’t think any monsters mention A.N specifically, so it’d be a quick fix that should work.
That's what makes it more of a mystery. Konami could easily change art or change the name since we get erratas now and then and have had card names changes.
another legal Yu-Gi-Oh card that's impossible to summon. That would be Elemental Hero Neo Bubbleman, who requires you to tribute Bubbleman and Metamorphosis. But since Metamorphosis is still banned in the TCG you can't legally summon Neo Bubbleman. Not that you'd want to since it's worse than vanilla Bubbleman.
I actually have a 1st ed NM ultra Air Neos, but I don’t trust my post office for me to mail it out to be graded. They have a habit of damaging/folding packages regardless of labeling.

Real fans knew all of this already
Yea
Yeah it’s just a clickbaity title that works well
I don't even play anything but Duel Links, and I still knew this stuff.
Still a fun video
*old

Idk how true that is on the E•HEROES but M•HEROES are definitely based off Kamen Rider

You should do a review on if the sliced the sky dragon deck is worth it.

What did we learn class like reviewing home work but with Yu-Gi-Oh.
I enjoyed these facts

Maybe they're waiting on a lawsuit to resolve
I LOVE THE GX DUEL ACADEMY SOUNDTRACK FOR GBA, WOHOOO🕺🏻
I had a Blue Eyes Shining Dragon and it was a shame I couldn't play it in playground duels but it was still a relatively rare and cool card back then

i actually think the new monster reborn art looks like some kind of life restoring Krystal or even a blue philosophers stone.

My top 3 are 3. Dark magician 2. Kuriboh 1. Blue eyes white dragon
Air neos is in modern games...
Which ones?
@TeamAPS the 2 legacy of the duelist games
1:52 the powerful five s That's the name I gave them Because of the time they were the most powerful cards in the game at that time
Good thing I only play Link Evolution, where I happily still have and use Air Neos
I think nobody has sufficiently gotten their game on to release Air NEOS
after all these all I can say is DO A BARRELL ROLL!
Such a great video!
And people say my education ended once I left school
the gun thing was always stupid to me. bang bang bad pew pew good
7:41 I think that's incorrect, True Exodia also has an effect that states "your opponent wins the duel" too.
The idea was to find cards that say "you lose" rather than "you win"
Why is half the thumbnail blank?
"True Exodia" should be a duel-Loser-Card too.
I love the Trivia
7:55 Not entirely true, you can use it as an Xyz material to cancel the lose condition.
True!
Isn't the blackluster normal equal
30 minutes of stuff I already knew.
The rest of us can only dream of being as knowledgeable as you.
I love this video
Yo I litterly was just looking at my magi magi magician gal then opened TH-cam and saw this video
🎉🎉
Ah so this is a lazy upload
We actually worked pretty hard on researching and editing each of these shorts!
Turning a bunch of your shorts into a video is disrespectful to the fans that watched the shorts to begin with 😅
Just a compilation for the crowd who doesn't always get to see them (shorts are notoriously weird about who they get shown to)
@@TeamAPS Yes. I didn't even knew you also do shorts. YT never showed me one 😅 Well but I watched the video so I'm caught up now XD
Said absolutely no one ever.
