Honestly, I’m going with the BFG. The Dualsense Edge just was MUCH worse battery life than the Dualsense itself. It has less accessories, and the switchable modules is just lesser in comparison to the BFG in my opinion. And I don’t want to pay $200 for something with worse battery life than the standard controller. The dongle I don’t mind for the BFG as that gives much less lag than a Bluetooth connection. Get the original, victrix got a lot of problem, one of them is stickdrift. It disconnects real often, and sometimes when in a game you go to ps menu. I really like the lay-out and back buttons but just wish it did not have those problems.
I have both, except I have the Victrix for the XBX. The two controllers are really not inferior to each other. I don't have any problems with stick drift with either controller. The only difference that is really a plus is that the Victrix has a Fightpad which is really useful. The Victrix Pro BFG has certainly improved positively compared to its predecessor. It doesn't feel cheap at all either.
Another issue with the Victrix Pro BFG is the high input lag at 8ms which is very poor for a pro controller. Victrix has also locked out the ability to overclock/increase the polling rate which almost every other controller has. Bizarre choice to release a high input lag controller for competitive play

Victrix have 1 proc against Edge - additional buttons in the back. Other it's cons. Why, because touchpad working not like PS5/PS4 touchpad, no haptics, shitty build quality + shit plastic quality + wobbling. I got the edge yesterday it works fantastically and easy to map did take me a sec to turn off the vibrations though you have to make a profile that doesn’t have vibrations everything works on it and analog sticks are so easy to take out and replace if needed to I fell in love with this controller the best part it comes with a protector for the charger port you placed the protector on the end of the cable and it stops it from bending in case you slam your controller down on an uneven surface or something that’s exactly what happened to my Xbox elite the charger port just snapped off and I had to get a charging station to use it
what I’m trying to say if you have the choice between one made by the company itself for their product or a company making a product for another company I would recommend the first choice
I have a question
Can you put Xbox stick on the ps5 pro controller or no
Tbh I don’t know what that is. Thanks
I’m waiting on my edge to show up I’ve always played claw so idk if I should try to not play claw when I get it or back paddles or both
I play claw aswell. You still play claw? Or u got use to the paddles?
For me I'm goin to buy both. Vix for ps4. And. Ps5 one for that.
Sounds good G
what is more worth it?
For shooting games what would be best ?
DSE
9:01 I don't get the statement that "... cheaper, doesn't mean it's better." ... said no one!
👍
very well done def. wont be going the BFG definitely not a fan on trigger adjustments thats def a no go. what about the razer wolverine v2 pro?
I've never used it, looks decent but I would just go for the DSE.
Both for the right games so you take down enemies and do super quick attacks and combos in a short amount of time.
what is grip like on Victrix
It’s ok, I do like the grip
The victrix controller is better than the edge and I own both controllers in terms of battery life and the grips on the edge will start coming off after lots of use
I Want The purple one but I Don’t Have money 😅😅
Hopefully soon!
I only want the BFG really. Why? Because it has a FIGHTING GAME MODULE BABY!!! And that’s pretty much why I want it. I hope it works with my PS2 Wingman ‘cuz I wanna play Tekken 5 or Hokuto no Ken with it.
Yeah for fighting games it’s number 1 for sure
@@NomadFlair I bought it over the DualSense Edge for that very reason. And I’m also happy to report it works perfectly with my PS2 Wingman. I was able to do combos no problem in my favourite PS2 fighting games.
Nice review but i dont know should i choose the dse or xbox elite 2. And you earned a new sub❤
Don’t buy the elite two you’ll regret it. A lot of issues. I’ve had 7 and returned them all
i have the elite core 2 and its been perfect. i haave nnot a single complaint, except i wish i could add that lil fight pad now
@@elijnr
Great content sir !
Bro you really should use your paddles for X and triangle bro and play tactical so you can just press your sticks to slide so you NEVER HAVE TO take your hands off your controller
Sounds like a good ideas, going to try it thanks
@@NomadFlair seriously bro on cod it’s a game changer for real! Cause then you can just press you stick to slide etc tactical is the way to go brother!
Even the standard PS5 dual sense is a waste of money if you don’t utilise the haptic function. They arent just that many games that really make use of it.
Does the Dual sense edge work on ps4 ??
Don’t think so
Does it get dirty fast?
If you snack while gaming then yes, if you don’t then no!
I want a pro controller but didn’t know witch one was better
What about the latency?
I don’t experience any delays
for me the bfg cus i got pc games and ps5 games and the controller works for both its great
in short:
victrix better for fps games (Fortnite, COD,Valorant, etc due to more paddles and more trigger stop levels
edge better for literally any other genre
(idk why you would buy a pro controller for anything other than fps advantage though? just get a victrix)
The vixtrix has issues with stick drift, and I play fps quite often, so this isn’t the best option. Especially for hardcore gamers
@@WoofFur replacement sticks are available on the turtle beach website and victrix sells hall effect modules which are easy to apply since the joysticks arent part of the controller. the reason you probably got stick drift fast is because you kept it in a dusty environment, i dont think anything makes controller get drift faster besides dirty places
Fair enough
If only the edge had a 6 button option layout :-(
That’s would be dope
why isn't the victrix pro bfg ps5 controller doesnt have the rumble vibration feature, $179 controller with no vibration is outrageous
Weird right
Wich ps5 controller has the best ergonomics?
I find the dualsense uncomfortable, too big
Thanks
the dualsense controller is the best and only good and properly shaped controller theyve made. its the entire reason to get the ps5
So, no vibration?
None for the Victrix only
this is big let down for me. i bought it before realizing that.@@NomadFlair
The Victrix has some very cool ideas, but poor execution imo, it's lacking features in the end and it's not worth the steep price
I agree man
I like and wanna get the dual sense edge
Im buying edge controller
Good shout!
worth it?
@@OfficialVontify it was worth
So battery doesn’t matter?
if you playing on ps5, get the dual sense edge. if you're playing on pc, get the victrix
I found myself disliking the edge for 2 reasons. battery life and the FN buttons. I found myself hitting them on accident during combo heavy games.
Victrix have 1 proc against Edge - additional buttons in the back. Other it's cons. Why, because touchpad working not like PS5/PS4 touchpad, no haptics, shitty build quality + shit plastic quality + wobbling. And also need to put here that 60% of users return victrix back, because it's having problem with sticks. And main problem here with this controller you completely cut all PS5 Dual sense features what give magnificent feeling from a lot of game (horizon for example).
Edge completely native, all configs can be configured inside PS5, amazing quality of all parts + elite feelings from device (And they saved original size and all things from default PS5 controller
Is the controller he have drift joystick?
Sadly, it does get stick drift, but it last a very long time. Last longer than the original Dualsense controller. Mines took a year and a half to get stick drift. If your controller does get stick drift, you can always replace it at the bottom.
So the BFG is a bootleg Astro c40?
Not sure about the Astro
Man, i am currently on Xbox, I'm gonna transition into Playstation because i do enjoy the exclusives. My current Xbox controller is the series Elite Core, so i do not have the accessories quite yet, but i will buy them, and I only have a ps4, gonna buy a ps5, this video gave me the idea to get the dualsense edge because... well, i like the idea
Did you ever buy it?
I got the victrix it was on sale for 150$ and i only play fortnite so the no vibration is a great thing bc i dont even have it enabled 4 back buttons is really good for building and editing for 50$ less i think victrix was worth it my headphones also have built in mic so i dont rlly need it
what rank are you
all i want is a controller that dose not go into a drift after a few months of used an then bin - not the for the price ive paid for - i have had now 2 of them
7:48 y
U don't have to just re buy module
They were selling it then, not sure if they are now
The dualsense edge back buttons may start to stick after awhile & stop working
Yes! I'm on my 3rd dualsense edge due to back buttons sticking/wearing out.. This seems to be a problem for tons of people.
@@deadtigerworldso bfg better?
@@OfficialVontify I'm looking at Scuf atm. Dualsense would be great if not for that design problem.
@@deadtigerworld im thinking of getting the dualsense edge and i think its worth the buy,im just going to buy a warranty with it
@GoatW7 Yeah, I did that as well with Best Buy, and Sony sent me a new one, so I have a lot of backup. Great controller otherwise.
Idk because sensitive Shooting button catch my eye cause ps5 controllers are mad slow u can’t get the shot off
You do have a point there
Victrix is perfect for fighting games like mk feels like 6bottoms sega Genesis
Can you map one of front triggers to one of the back buttons as well?
Ngl I like both but l like the victrix better
Can you remap one of the paddles to a D-button? Or just to the common 4 buttons?
Yes you can, not just the common buttons.
@@NomadFlair thank you so much for the quick response! Also, I have a PS5 aimcontrollerV1 and I recently purchased a PS5 aimcontroller v3 and I think the location of the paddles are terrible. Does the victrix feel more natural for your ring fingers to press easily? And i need 4 paddles so would you recommend the vixtric overall? Any stick drift? Or should I consider maybe the cinch gaming controller? Thanks again!
Ye it’s not just the common YOU CAN
@@Goodgracious381 In general, from what I've experienced & read - any stick that cannot be replaced, will eventually have Stick Drift.
After replacing several DualShocks, & 1 DualSense due to nothing other than Stick Drift - I won't get "premium" controllers that don't have replaceable stick modules, although I've heard good things about the non-analog controllers whose name escapes me.
They've been popular on the Nintendo Switch, no drift b/c there's no mechanical parts.
@@NomadFlair Can you map one of front triggers to one of the back buttons as well?
unfortunately, the grip will get yellow after a while and very bad quality, not washable and then it will start to get lose after playing with the controller for a duration of 6 month, and very short period of time for battery! overall IMO 5-10
Everyone handles their controllers differently. I have had mine for 18 months almost and it’s immaculate, no yellowing or drift etc
I had to swap my victrix pro for a dual sense
YEAH.. NOT BUYING A CONTROLLER WHERE THE TRIGGERS BREAKING IS A COMMON FAILURE AFTER 8 monthes.
Depends on which one
I thought the Victrix would be more like an Astro c40 but they failed with the quality Astro has more premium buttons and faster on the pc not only that the victrix paddles are a bit worse then the Astro and sticks also suck especially the options
It really depends on what u Use the controller for i wouldn't say the Edge is better and the pice for New Sticks is even more expensive then fixen a Normal ps5 controller u don't get that many New stuff and the pize is insane the ps5 Edge screams Cash Grab to me whlie the vitrix gives u alot more options but let's be Honest Here both of the controllers are basicly Cash Grabs paying 200€ for a controller is never Good
Back buttons are just annoying to me overall and like to use regular buttons. Victrix is nice but no rumble sucks and long side R2 L2 is odd. The bottom texture feel of the edge is great along with PS4 and PS3 dome sticks to choose from make it the better buy.
Sorry but for versus game like sf6,kof or others VECTRIX is clairly better than ps Pad
Yep for sure
Dualsense edge controller back buttons wear out fast mine broke within 2 months and I don't play often. Don't buy sony won't respond.
You should have warranty bro
All my Controllers/Stickdrift/rating
AstroC40 - 2 months 😊
AimController - 7 months 🤮
Victrix BFG - 2 months 😍
Scuf Pro - not yet (8m) 😍
Original PS1/2/3/4/5 - Never 🤷🏻♂️
My issue with my scufs. Thumbsticks wear fast. And the grip on the back started to come loose and it's not replaceable. $240. Not worth it
Ive had Astro C40 for about 4 years now. No stick drift whatsoever. Still my favorite controller out of all of them. Sucks its not PS5 controller though. I got the Razor Wolverine v2. After 8 months it got drift 🤦♂️
The basic dual sence ps5 controllers in my experience is up and down, one of mine got stick drift in about 2-3 months and the one that came with PlayStation over a year plus with the slightest drift
Turning on PS5 - that's something Sony has done about 3rd party controllers since PS4.
Fair enough
Both
Sweeet
worth it?
only the duel sense edge is
