Hi Chad, that song at the start of your reaction is, of course 'Be who you are' from their 'Living eyes' album. Awesome song! Love this song, the video is a first for me. Although I have seen fragment of it in other videos or documentaries. Really enjoyed your reaction as always. 😃
A fun song and a fun video! Before they were famous, thank heaven for the gadget guy, Mo!!! Without him we wouldn't have the old gems. When they were sped up they were hilarious and reminded me of the old comedies before "talkies". Their mother sure had a handful when Hugh was in the outback being a bush photographer leaving her with 5 rambunctious kids! People who knew them said the older boys were practically "feral". No doubt hyperbole but likely at least a bit accurate. Amazing that she made it into her 90's. When they had success she deserved all the pampering I'm sure she got! You seem to be enjoying the trip down memory lane away from the mainstream hits. They were fun. Enjoying this weekend's reactions! 🤣
I love your comment!! ☺ I'm sure the brothers properly pampered their mom! I once read a story saying that the mom woke up with a mink coat on top of her. The Brothers laid the coat on top of her while she was sleeping lol☺
@@KaylasMusicalDigest545 - Even when they were poor Barbara told Hugh he never gave her flowers. Shortly afterwards she saw two pairs of scrawny legs (the twins) coming down the street behind a huge wreath that read RIP.
This made me smile too. I never tire of watching these home movie clips. What talented boys these were making up their own skits and scenarios all for their own amusement. Great little song that i haven't listened to in a while so thanks for the reminder to revisit the fab Odessa album. Glad you loved it too Chad thanks x
It is a great song from the LP “Odessa” said by many fans to be their best! It shows the diversity of their talent & Bill Shepard's genius orchestration, come together to make this LP a genuine classic.
Hi there is only one reaction you never find a better group than the bee gees there vocie,s omg so blended and the timing❤ so sad andy died he wad going to join his brothers andy,s vocal,s mixed with his brother,s andy and barry bouned of each other then add morris and robin voice,s wow regards from dublin ireland ❤
This is very unexpected for a Bee Gees song, but I love it! I love the fun, upbeat, country sound and the positive message!❤🔥😍 I knew the talking at the beginning of it would catch you off guard.😂 I love that you showed silly home videos of the guys while playing the song! I love watching them being their natural, silly selves! I completely agree that, if they hadn't had a successful music career, they would've been amazing comedians. Oh, also, the music at the beginning of this video is “Be Who You Are” from the “Living Eyes” album. It really is such a beautiful song that I love so much from one of my favorite albums of theirs!❤😍 Thanks for, yet, another amazing marathon! I look forward to the next one! I hope you, as well as any other American who sees this comment, has a great Memorial Day!🇺🇸
I keep forgetting how much I loved the album "Odessa." Isn't this totally fun. Like "Marley Purt Drive", "Give Your Best" was a country piece. Love the vocals. For this track they used a fiddle player, Tex Logan and banjo player, Bill Keith. Did it in one take. What fun.
Oh Chad thank you so much for this!🙏 I loved every second of it. It just made my day..my weekend and made me smile and laugh. Love their older songs. And how ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE and FUNNY they were when they were kids! They definitely were comedians. Those sweet Childhood Days they shared. It brought back the sweet memories of my childhood days with my three brothers who have all passed.😌 And I'm sure Barry thinks about and relives all those precious memories with his brothers. This was so much fun and like you said a "bundle of joy". Thanks again and I just love sharing these times with you. You're adorable and you make me laugh.🥰😂 Take care and have a Happy and Blessed Memorial Day. Stay safe and God bless.🙏♥️🌹
Oh, how I love the brothers' old home movies! I’ve seen tiny snippets of baby Andy before, but never as long as was shown at 3:40. 😍 This good ole’ country song is such a delightful change of pace from them.
Hi, I don't know if you've seen his magnificent 2021 documentary, How Can You Mend a Broken Heart. In this documentary, the censorship to which they were subjected throughout the eighties is very clear, the records of the Bee Gees were burned in football stadiums in bacchanals organized by metal supremacists who had decreed what should be listened to and what should not, these fascists and their hatred of the Bee Gees conveniently publicized by certain interests of the musical establishment made it possible for the Bee Gees to be ridiculed, Persecuted and their fans branded stupid (I've had to suffer that as a fan for many, many years) while fans of bands well treated by the establishment and critics, such as Queen, Beatles, Rollin, U2, Pink Floyd were tolerated, admired and supported, Bee Gees fans were constantly ridiculed. That has changed a lot today where many of those who spoke badly of bee gees recognize them as myths However, the change has not been absolute, there are still islands of contempt, intolerance, mockery and above all a lot of ignorance about these geniuses. I have been, am and will be until I die one of his most loyal fans. I like many other bands that make me happy, like Pink Floyd, Elo, Supertramp, Alan Parsons, etc but NOBODY, NO ONE gives me what the bee gees give me. I don't care what they say about their falsetto, about them, about their music, they'll always be my favorite band.
Melody or SWALK 1971 Mark Lester Jack Wild Tracey Hyde as Melody , The movie was based around 1960's Bee Gees Songs except the end it was Teach your Children well , There was baby Andy and father Hugh , Cucumber Castle
Please react to WHERE DO I GO by Jimmy Ruffin and Marcy Levy. It’s a Gibb song that was considered too Country, so not a good fit for Children of the World, and one fans are still hopeful to hear the Bee Gees version of one day. I check your site and didn’t see it, so hope I did better this time. Robin and Blue Weaver wrote and produced the album for Jimmy Ruffin, and included this song and Songbird (which Blue has co-writing credit on). There is some speculation that you might hear a little backing vocals by Barry toward the end of the duet, and I’m not mistaken, all four Gibb brothers have songwriting credit on it. See you next weekend.
Best Group ever ❤❤❤
That was a comment by their best friend and actor David English ....
I think quite a few people agreed with David! 😁
Love ❤️ everything you post about the BEEGEES. They were 3 fun guys and the best singers and entertainers EVER ❤❤❤❤
Without a doubt, they were having fun, love the song, love Bee Gees Forever, thank you Chad, Happy Memorial Day to you all 🎶🎵🎤♥️💞🌹🦋🌈
The beautiful & boujee intro is from the song "Be Who You Are" from the fabulous & underrated "Living Eyes" 1981 album🥰☺
You can feel the fun and joy the brothers had together. Cherished childhood memories, awesome. 🙂
YES I AGREE CHILDREN DON'T PLAY LIKE THAT ANYMORE

Always enjoy the Bee Gees weekends. Thanks for doing it even on a holiday weekend!

Love it!!! I love all your Bee Gees reactions!!! They are what made me subscribe to your channel.❤
The skit with the older Robin and Mo dancing was from the end of the 'Kiss of Life' video. Only most times it ends short.
I could watch videos of the BeeGees for hours (and have). Thanks Chad!!
I grew up listening to the Bee Gees also. I am 58 years old and I am a huge fan! Thanks Chad!
The violins are from the intro to the song “Be Who You Are” from the “Living Eyes” Album, released in 1981.

Fun is good!
PS - I have a bumper sticker a friend gave me. "Paddle faster, I hear banjos"!
The Bee Gees have done music in just about every genre. Their catalog is a treasure trove of little nuggets like "Give Your Best".
Happy Memorial Day weekend, Chad. The violins are from Be Who You Are from Living Eyes
