Our marriage counselor says my wife and father in law have an enmeshed relationship with narcissistic tendencies. That emotional separation from daughter to married daughter hasn’t happened and he does everything he can to make sure it doesn’t. Right down to telling her I’m trying to split them up. He tells me”she’s MY daughter” and “we’re best friends”. He runs our life through her and any second I stand up to it all hell breaks loose. Our pastor says it’s a Jezebel spirit and then tells me he’s not helping. My wife has left marriage counseling because she says she can’t be that kind of wife. It’s her job to make sure he’s not lonely and she can’t have any sort of intimacy with me. My father in law just eats it up when he pries his way in and tells her and our kids garbage about me. There is nobody to hold them accountable and so it continues unchecked. Keeping G-d first and honoring the vows I made to him on our wedding day is all that keeps me going. It’s said that G-d doesn’t give you more than you can handle, but I can’t take much more. I run into my father in law at every corner. He moved near us, joined our church, became a volunteer in our kids youth group, got on our kids school board and drives the bus for field trips. He’s EVERYWHERE!!!
Your wife needs to learn priorities in marriage, unfortunately counseling didnt help her, u r not expecting anything wrong. If possible quit this marriage, may be then she will realize what her dad caused in her life
Please get counseling from this ministry or Focus on The Family for you as husband in how you need to handle this biblically . This is not healthy or biblical at all. Very dysfunctional and toxic. I'm praying Father lead you .. Please. I pray you follow through with getting help for you.
@@tyronebiggums1047 A lot of people, including women, get gaslit. Narcissism exists, despite denial from willfully ignorant individuals. Emotional abuse takes a giant toll.
@@amunah4yah150 The point Tyrone was making was that almost every woman describes their ex's as narcissist's. Since all men do not have this disorder, the obvious conclusion is that many of those women are lying.
