Well, I'd say its yes answer cuz the team and director looked like new to the Capcom and had follow orders just to make this game happen I mean they're not like Sujimoto (son of CEO) and Itsuno who can just request whatever they want and get accepted cuz they gained a lot of recognition. Maybe putting this "Live Service" in the game was Capcom's decision and not the Devs themselves, I mean why are Devs would a thing inside the game that is frown and criticised upon the whole gaming community thus tainting the game's recognition??? Yes there's greedy devs out there for example Bethesda who loves to keep milking Skyrim to bones that is buggy and already outdated and was only keeping alive by the mods specifically cultured mods (a source told me that) that are, THAT ARE locked behind the pay wall by Bethesda themselves... SO Yeah they have there own "modding store" you can still download mods from Nexus cuz they're free.... So yeah only a few greedy Devs and most of the decision came from who/where they're working P.S those said cultured mods you can get them on Nexus Mods, Bethesda won't allow that And about the whole topic about the live service take this with a grain of salt, well actually make it a spoonful cuz its just my thoughts without proper evidence backing it up.
I just thought of a funny way to explain why we are fighting dinos in the simulations instead of actual military equipment. The company producing the exosuits cud be trying to have them classified as hunting equipment, so that they can even sell them to citizens in countries where weapon ownership is illegal, via the hunting license loop hole.
this looks like Monster Hunter for kids who are too cool for Monster Hunter and i wouldn't be surprised if some of the animation rigging were borrowed from that series. wacky fun i'll give it a try
