- There is no death for the S3lf-Eater... No path to the Other Place...
Taking a break from Arena mode, I finally make a video on the story campaign to try out the newest update: The Legacy of the S3lf-Eater! It's going to be a tough fight!
Sorry that this took so long. A mix of procrastinating and some sudden family stuff delayed the video for a while, but things are mostly back on track! Up next is the video I've been anticipating and also dreading. The 5k special us upon us, and I'm going to be BUSY making sure it lives up to the milestone. @@NicoLas-xy3ew no need to be so rude or blind to your love of the update. Its good for stuff like this to have both positive and negative experiences for it.
The first time or so is cool, the lore is nice(as it sorta explains the Gen 5 "Grunt" robots and Cyber Bandits), and the final boss is cool too. Prime blade is great to boot.
However, it can drag on a be a bit fetch questy. The S3LF Eater overstays its welcome a bit, despite being a cool hunter, and there's very little variation to its tactics till the finak stretch.
Again, no need to get so upset. Its fine to have structurally different stances on an update to a game like this.
@@OnyxNuva what im saying is that its complicated to do an entire side quest for people who beat the storyline to enjoy, its not only complicated, its hard.
you have to make lore connect to some stuff, while making something to keep the player distracted.
its obvious you cant do a lot, unless you take about 6 entire months to make an entire new mission based on even more lore and new enemies.

Pretty sure Dr Gonne became the Prime blade, Jebus and Tricky say goodbye to him (if played as) when you complete the eater side quest
he became part of the s3lf eater
Or gonne just died that's also possible
Actually, the more common theory is instead he plugged himself into the S3LF Eater. Which could also explain them saying farewell to him.

In do agree with the update but I got so lost finding all the markings because the one I needed to find was behind a medkit but overall great video keep pumping them out and take your time.

Yea, because of the S3lf Eater update I came back to Madness Project: Nexus. Replayed the whole campaign. S3lf Eater made me more frustrated than Project Gestalt.
This Update Actually Has Two Events But I Don't Know Which Of Them Are Canon (I Know That I Said It Had 3 Events Before But After Discovering That You Need To Beat Gestalt Phobos And Hank Then You Get Access Of It Because Of Project Nexus For Some Reason I Don't Know What Christoff Did For Project Nexus To Open Dr. Gonne's little Lab Facility Before He Got Blasted From The Roof But I Guess It Worked
god this reminds how much pain that I had to go through and then got stuck because the second part was bugged
Was worth fight the eater, I would say no but yes because it’s a bit of challenge then have your teammates go down and you reviving them but the reward is new costume but the thing you for beating it is the prime sword which is the weapon in game for now.
I can't get over the editing of this video I love it

I found the best way to beat him was spam the hell out of the savior loadout and bully him with the dissonance throwables, because fighting him is just boring up until the final fight.
if it werent for the s3lf eater update I wouldnt had noticed the sherif had infinite ammo as his gimmick
which made the whole quest actually easier(until I discovered S3lf's insta kill move which anihilated my sherif while carrying those 2 laser rifles you get from going at the top of the tower from the overworld map)
You can easily get companions back by going to another sector just remember to heal them because they come back with the lowest health possible without dieing

Just use NEM to spawn him in in whatever arena you want

I'm back I couldn't figure out where the s-3lf eater was damn it was hard to find and my game fucking broke i had to use hank by himself the whole mission then his head got squashed and boom now its only sandford and demios I never saw christoff which sucks hes the best and by God did you make it look easy it took me like 4 hours to find the marks and pieces and just cheesed both fights with the dissonece lancer at the top of the science tower

How do you update madness combat
Quick question: how do you get to the room where you invoke the blade?
Where you find the prime blade?
After you snap pictures of all the prime code throughout the world, you go back to the underground hideout in the commercial sector where the cyber bandits are. The place will expand a little bit to the shrine where you will build the sword, but you'll first be given another fetch quest to get all the parts for it. Once you find all the parts, go back to that same underground hideout and take them to the shrine.

Is this possible as sheriff and christoff
Edit it is possible to defeat it with only christoff and sheriff
It is possible as every character, including co op only characters and temporary characters you can only get if you quit out of a mission like Tricky and a robot butler.
I just kept starting "The Climb" and leaving so I could have a 4 man party.
all i needed is sheriff and christoff which is at the end of the credits. Also it’s quicker since sheriff as infinite pocket of all types of ammo u literally never run out
Game question: how much hirelings can you get?
You can only bring up to 5 with you with a fully upgraded chopper, as for the amount of hirelings total, I think it's 16.

The new loadouts are pretty neat. The S-3lf Eater one you get for beating the update is basically just a free pass to beat Madness difficulty.
