      Danke! Mit Ausnahme des matten Pianos bin ich von den Einzelsounds angesichts des Preises wirklich überrascht. Die Begleitung ist verführerisch, man muss aber viel wirbeln, damit es nicht monoton wirkt! 😅😅😅
      Beste Grüße zurück!

    I really like listening to you because of Genesis-like harmonies. And I must say with that harmony you are playing an arranger keyboard in quite not-arranger-keyboard way. And it is great. You show that those instruments are not only for, widely understanding, disco.

    • @Grubenpony12

      Dear Pawel, that is one of the nicest comments I have ever received, thank you so much! I admit: for a long time I didn't really take entertainer keyboards seriously, the accompaniment automation just seemed silly. But you have to break their monotomy by lively playing. If I succeeded just a little bit, I'm happy. Your comment gives courage to dare more....

      @@Grubenpony12 I think you have pianistic background. And from what I see this keyboard can read the chords from the whole keybed. That helps a lot in playing. Older generations of keyboards weren't able to do that, only left hand below split point. Those S and now SX arrangers are higher level than educational keyboards. More variations of style, multiple intros and endings, break. Much more flexible than only A and B part with auto fill-in and one intro/ending. I think every instrument can sound silly if is not used in clever way, and otherwise, most instruments can sound like a pro when the player has skill. Your demos are often more musical than many recordings from "the reviewers".
      Greetings from Poland.

      Thanks again! I play all my life, I do not know notes, everything is improvised. That keeps the music fresh and alive for me. And I have to agree with you: an arranger keyboard makes it easier to get into music, also because it doesn't cost that much. And the way is determined by everyone himself.... Greetings from Germany

      @@Grubenpony12 I can't believe you don't know the notes. But I also don't have any degree in classical music. I started on an educational keyboard and now I'm playing mostly pianos and EPs on weighted keybeds. Also able to improvise, often better than my classically-trained friends, because the classical music school does not teach improvisation. Raw theory and notes, in most cases. Following the dots. It is good to not being locked into notes and music sheets. I am not good at reading music sheets fast, because usually, as my non-classically-trained friend says "scores do not bother my playing" :).

    • @Grubenpony12
      @Grubenpony12  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@pawelsz95 It has advantages and disadvantages. I admire pianists who play works by Brahms, Bach and Beethoven. But I also knew classical pianists who could not improvise. Everyone goes their own way. For me, it's wonderful to sit down at my keyboard and have absolutely no idea what's coming. Whether I just play crap or "discover" a wonderful chord. I think you feel the same way....

      Thank you again, your appreciation keeps me going. I didn't switch on any special chord recognition in this video, it's the normal accompaniment rhythms that are orientated to the upper voice.

    Hello, what do you think, does this new Yamaha sx series sound better than the Roland Juno DS or the Fa ??? I mean the sounds of instruments or the sounds of choirs. Greetings.

    • @Grubenpony12
      @Grubenpony12  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Among the individual sounds there are great "outliers" such as the brass, the saxophone, the acoustic guitar, which I did not know in this clarity even on the KRONOS. I didn't find the choirs that great, but that's different for everyone. With the JUNO DS, I remember a very good piano and an incredible free library. I have never played the FA. Just try the SX600 to your heart's content....

    I was about to buy used PSR E463, but when I heard PSR SX600 I think it's a step up in terms of styles and sounds.. Does it have audio recording over USB?

      Yes! 🙂

    • @graycolors2879
      @graycolors2879 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Grubenpony12 that is a selling point. I can live with button controlled smaller screen, but ausio interface inside keyboard is a nice feature and I think the upper models SX700 SX900 do not have it.
      Hav you have any other keyboard prior to PSR S600?

    • @Grubenpony12
      @Grubenpony12  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was especially thrilled by the individual sounds (acoustic guitar, saxophone). And another goodie: The SX600 has - unusual in the price category - even a microphone input!

      @@Grubenpony12 I am still taking KORG EK50 into consideration. It has 4 style variations, 2 intros, 2 endings. It has TRANSPOSE function on the panel - ok checked Yamaha als has it. I had it in 30yrs old Yamaha PSR27. Just Korg EK50 has no audio over USB. And I think PSR SX600 voices/sounds are better than KORG's EK50 - however it is twice the price. But I think you admit, it is worth it...

      @@Grubenpony12 Thanks for the reply. What’s your opinion? Better than the MX? As for as sound quality, how does it fare against the modx? I’m interested in the more antique type of sounds rather than modern synth stuff. The sounds seem to a have a nice produced sound out the box.

    • @Grubenpony12
      @Grubenpony12  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@thelantern9075 I think it's hard to compare them. With the MX, I like the piano more, but it only has one arpeggiator, you can layer two sounds, but it doesn't have a whole band of hundreds of styles to accompany it. The horns are excellent on the SX600 (probably from the GENOS), as are the drums. The MODX has the widest range in sounds on offer, but is a synthesizer with arpeggiator drums. So: each has something individual that the other doesn't, you have to test for a long time to come to a conclusion. They are all good...

      Ma il prezzo è imbattibile. Tuttavia, mi manca la "profondità" e la brillantezza dei suoni che gli allenamenti hanno. Tutto suona un po 'piatto, l'EQ non è utilizzabile. Ad esempio, se ascolti un Roland Jupiter XM e l'SX700 fianco a fianco, la differenza nei suoni è enorme. Ma è sicuramente 😉 divertente
