    I didn't realize how hard it can be to get wood to catch fire until we switched to burning hardwood in our fireplace instead of compressed logs.
    Fatwood burns steadily enough to get it to light. Nice to know it'll take a spark, too.

      I have got it from a pine plantation at Belangalo state forest but it's much easier to pick up a bag at Bunnings. Appreciate the feedback. Thanks for watching.
