It’s almost a shame that only real metal heads know the true importance of Exodus and how they’ve consistently released razor sharp albums even at some “low points” of the Metal timeline. That being said as a human being, Gary Holt is among the best. A true metal hero and stays so Fng humble!

Gary Holt, the Norm Macdonald of guitar. I love the guy! Listened to Exodus since high school. It was awesome to see him with Slayer. I'm glad that he stood in for Jeff Hanneman but he will definitely be missed RIP brother..

I have been a Gary Holt fan the first time I heard Bonded by Blood many years ago, 85 I think. This dude is down to earth and chill, would be kick ass to have a beer with him and discuss some Metal, favorite tours and such. I also like the new Exodus album! It kicks ass and hope they follow it with a tour soon, still would like to see these guys play

Gary officer Holt. He's a great songwriter and guitarplayer. The way how he portrays religion, politics and current world affairs are realistically top notch.
I was at the November 27 show at the Fox theater, watched you guys come up out of Dublin and at 59 years old still raised hell in the pit
Unpopular opinion, Shovel Headed Kill Machine is Exodus’s best album. Super beefy production paired with some of the most devastating musical performances in Rock and Roll history make this album stand out. Even the vocals are a top tier thrash assault that hasn’t been matched. Wild to hear that it was the only album they recorded in a traditional studio to date.
True it's pretty thick sounding. Plus it's missing Tom H., Toss up between the first two imo for best Exodus.

I love how Gary is rocking an Obituary hat. Him, Millie Petrozza and Eric Peterson are some of the few old thrash guys that give a shit AT ALL about death metal. Most others scoff at it making "cookie monster noises" and think they're better than everyone else and everything else is noise (looking at you Kerry King). Gary is as real as it gets.

I was watching the subtitles displayed when they were talking about it and the words always get screwed up, and on one of them it said "Math." I then pictured Whitesnake sitting around doing a bunch of math problems and thought it was funny. Then I pictured them incorporating they're math skills into their music somehow.
