Holy crap. I have served in US embassies since FEB 2002. So much of what USAID/DOJ. DOD, and DOS is to develop, assist, build and not promote political agendas regardless of POTUS. They can recognize how people of various genders act towards each other and accept that differences exist between people. Especially when what social emotional learning actually refers to is just... learning to regulate your emotions and function in a group. Especially when what social emotional learning actually refers to is just... learning to regulate your emotions and function in a group. A very obvious example would be teaching preschool age children that you can't hit another student because they have the you you want, or helping them find words to describe how they're feeling and try to solve the problem instead of just breaking down into a tantrum.
It's a vitally important part of early childhood development.
