Hi Guys, Poland is looking great, loving the blue skies and your excellent documentation of van life coupled with visiting cities etc. Poland's now on our 'visit ' list 😊
Cities in Poland are very clean, but Poznań is incredibly clean! I saw people in the city center walking down the street picking up rubbish and throwing it into the bin! When I returned from the industrial fair in Poznań to Hamburg, I felt like I was in a garbage can.
My sister lives in Poland, in a village called Wola Krzysztoporska about a 100 km southwest of Warsaw. I haven't gone to visit her yet, so you video is of particular interest to me. Dankie, julle twee. Ry veilig!
Well, hello there fellow Saffer! Glad you have found us! 😁 We really wanted to go to Gdansk - also for some kitesurfing in the Hel peninsula. But alas, we'll have to leave that for next time. All the best to you!
An interesting introduction to Poland. I thought it might have been a noisy night in Szczecin, but it turned out to be a good stop. The local food looks interesting too, so looking forward to Lisa seeking out more local delicacies to try.
Hello from SZCZECIN 😊😁 shame u didn't see the Castle and old town that was litterally 5 min from where u were sleeping... Szczecin is really beautyfull city! Lat summer we had Tall Ship races final that is every 4yrs massive party check on TH-cam! Few milions came to Szczecin from all Europe ... If You planning trip to Szczecin u can be my geust I'll show u a bit of Szczecin 👋 welcome to Poland 🇵🇱🤝
Ah thanks! We saw some of the posters for the Tall Ship racing - looks incredible! Don't worry, we did see the Castle and the Old Town. We actually walked around quite a lot and spend 2 days there. But we don't film everything. All the best!
If you like ice cream so much, it is worth visiting Toruń, the city of Nicolaus Copernicus and gingerbread. The best ice cream is at Lengiewicz's, anyone will show you where it is. There are two landmarks in the old town. Note: maximum of two balls. These are such large portions that few people will eat three. Besides, Toruń is a beautiful city. In 2024, this city of two hundred thousand inhabitants was visited by two million tourists.
Hello to you! Started wondering where you were because haven't seen any footage for a while. But always as nice to see film clips from you. We are waiting for the next video clip. Hugs from me and Karina in Denmark.
Nice video, thanks! My wife is Polish and that area is the one we know best. As a previous comment said, it is easier as a S. African to use the German name of "Stettin", all the locals will understand! You were either lucky or sensible to overnight at the Marina on weekdays, last time we went by boat and stayed in the Marina on a Friday night and the noise was hellish, thump, thump, thump until 3 in the morning! All the best on your travels, and please say Czesc to Wroclaw for us!
Thanks for that! 😎 We definitely got lucky in the marina - was a pleasant surprise. (By the way... Wroclaw was our favourite city.. Coming in the next video..)
You are so inspiring and we love to watch all of your videos... Next time you're coming to Denmark it could be a nice experience to meet you... Hope you get a nice winther in the south😊
Actually, Biedronka is a Portuguese company :) their entire business is in Poland but it is still just a business and there is no tradition. (edit) ohh you mentioned it, I love it, nice research well done. And I love the way you film on your own. It's a pleasure to watch it
You're very kind. Thanks! 😋 Although it's not always possible to pick up every detail we enjoy learning as much as possible as we go. It's one of the best parts of travel!
You should definitely try golabki(minced meat mixed with rice and rolled in cabbage leafs) and pierogi (dumplings which can be with different fillings eg meat, mushroom & cabbage, cottage cheese, fruits etc.)
You must have a waffle with fruit, ice cream and fresh cream, 😋 Poznan looks lovely, I've not been. It's a shame you didn't have time to visit Gydnia and Gdansk. Perhaps another time. Take care 👍 🐸
We were actually aiming for the Hel peninsula, but sadly the weather forecast didn't look great. You ALWAYS have to leave something for the next time 😁
@WeWillNomad I went to Hell once, by train. It's a commercial hot spot, I don't think you would have liked it, I wasn't that keen. Leba, further along the coast is lovely.
Z Wrocławia na południe jest Zamek Książ koło Wałbrzycha i fajne gorskie miasteczka Karpacz i Szklarska Poręba. Jest też kompleks Rise- poczytajcie w necie. Udanego zwiedzania. Ps. W Dobromierzu jest punkt informacyjny z lokalnymi produktami . Warto podjechać
Argh funfairs! We just stayed a night in the stellplatz in Magdeburg and there was a funfair across the water. Unfortunately it is also Oktoberfest (which apparently doesn’t just happen in Munich!) and a Saturday night…thumping music from some kind of event from 5pm until 1am… I’m sure they enjoyed themselves (we didn’t)
Oh gosh, that sounds like a nightmare! We're always so relieved to see funfairs being dismantled! 😜 And btw, we've now seen Oktoberfest being advertised in Poland and Slovakia so I think it's everywhere these days! 🍻 Always nice to have you join us, happy travels! 😊
Poland doesn't look half bad. How strange are people, all waiting to see two mechanical goats come out and butt heads, it reminds me of Marienplatz in Munich. Those houses in that area did look amazing mind. How much in EUROs was that burger Andre ? It looked sumptuous. Yum, yum. Great video guys, as always of such high quality, thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
👋Hi from🇩🇰❣️I have been traveling all my life😊, but the lock down stoped me for the time being. Now Im 75 and your trips are my trips. I cant stand crowds and Im happy you try to avoid them too😊. I dont fancy to go inside huge tourist places like Castels etc Hights scares me and I Love icecream so we are a good together😄.
Thank you for another great video, these are places that I doubt i will get to as a 72 year old widower. So it’s really important that you continue to show me these places, I’ll be sticking with France (where I live) and Spain for the time being.
Gosh so many recommendations for places to visit, and so little time to enjoy and explore. Doesn't it drive you mad? Travelling so far and yet only to dip your toes in some beautiful placess? I know the video is a compression of the time you have, but you seem to be in a bit of a hurry. 🤔. Anyway, another great video. Thanks. I think I've caught up now. Phew! 👋🇬🇧🇪🇺🇺🇦🇮🇪
Thanks Geoff. Sometimes we move slower, sometimes we move faster. The latter usually coincides with a change of season. After more than 2 months in Denmark it's time to move a bit. Truth is, we also only have so much energy and enthusiasm for constantly exploring new places. Also, it might seem like we're moving 'fast' at the moment but if you compare it with how most people 'holiday', it's still at snail's pace. 😁
@@WeWillNomad Oh! now i get it ! You definitly need to go into bieszczady ! Especially hike through : "Połonina Caryńska from Ustrzyki to Brzegi" you will get so much silence as you want.
The beetroot "juice" is a soup! The idea is to dip the pasztecik in that soup, and eat it soaked. The people working there should've explained this to you 🙄
I'm happy that you visited Szczecin, my city. SZCZECIN is famous from the oldest still working cinema in the world!! it's called Pionier 1907 with Guinness Record. Hope you enjoyed your time
Would you planning to visit Ukraine as well?) It's close to Poland. If yes, just remember that as a minimum one of your subscribers lives here and ready to meet with you here)
Szczecin is rather unusual choice for first visit in Poland, most people choose Kraków or Gdańsk. I'm glad you liked it, but the city does not represent typical polish architecture or urban landscape.
It was sort of on our route - we wanted to hang back as there was still uncertainty with the flooding at the time. But we have been to a few more Polish cities after this video..
Aww thanks for sharing … different country… and you had blue skies … but def not beach weather!!! Food looks ‘polish’ … and Lol what an interesting style ice cream … lovely to see you enjoying can life and bringing some humour into it … bravo… brava … 🤩😍
You should have visited what's left of "Prora"! The absurdly long Vacation Hotel built on Rügen by the Nazies and which still has much left though the Russians tried to blow it up. A part of it has ben restored and is still used as a Hotel.
Hi Guys,
Poland is looking great, loving the blue skies and your excellent documentation of van life coupled with visiting cities etc. Poland's now on our 'visit ' list 😊
❤️ Thank you! We've really enjoyed exploring some of the cities of Poland - there's a LOT more to see.
Cities in Poland are very clean, but Poznań is incredibly clean! I saw people in the city center walking down the street picking up rubbish and throwing it into the bin! When I returned from the industrial fair in Poznań to Hamburg, I felt like I was in a garbage can.
We saw the same thing. Very impressive!
9:17 It's Krzysztof Jarzyna from Szczecin - the boss of all bosses, if you don't know that already 😮💨
Enjoy 💪😎🇵🇱

Wola Krzysztoporska - say that fast three times 😁 Thaks Cyril! Plenty more of Poland to come.
Love your videos. About 10 years ago. i was working in Poznan for about a year or more it's a lovely city and very friendly.
It's a great city and we enjoyed our brief visit. Thanks for the comment!
Belo vídeo! Não imaginava que a Polônia era tão bela!
Obrigado! A Polônia é muito verde e tem cidades lindas.
Fabulous video! So interesting that you're travelling through Poland and visiting some amazing places. Thanks so much RnR😊
Thanks! 😃
We liked Szczecin, an interesting city! We were there in early July, and it was lovely temperatures. The food…yummo!
We agree! In fairness we saved the 'bulk' of our food tastings for Wroclaw 😁
Our favourite place to visit for a snack. The beetroot juice is a soup
How interesting finding your channel. I am a South African and my wife is from Szczecin and currently live in Gdansk
Well, hello there fellow Saffer! Glad you have found us! 😁 We really wanted to go to Gdansk - also for some kitesurfing in the Hel peninsula. But alas, we'll have to leave that for next time. All the best to you!

Awesome! Thank you!

As it's our first time in Poland we're sort of obliged to try all the typical local food 😁
It's interesting listening to visitors comments about life in Poland
Great video, guys!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good night 😊 another beautiful video ❤
Tank you for sharing kiss
Thank you too! ❤️
i'm binging on szczecin videos , great upload
