as posted by her daughter @sailorkatey: Hi this is my Tatay Dexter. He’s Captain of a ship so he wasn’t able to see Nanay until 3 days after she passed when we took her to her home town. The day he saw her is when he made the video. Nanay Wilma would be so proud of him ❤ thank you for showing love. We’re all trying out best with this great loss
I watched this video so many times but still my heart breaks into tears. This man just pour out his deep emotion of love to his wife through song. Very touching.
the husband then cried after that he really miss his wife.We filipinos are really pouring out everything into a song as a way of showing respect and love
Beautiful. My wife died 10 years ago with my daughter and myself beside the bed at home. The sadest thing is that she spent most of her life looking after children. But never got to see our 2 beautiful daughters marry or hold our 4 awesome grandchildren.
My husband and I promise each other that we would play and sing this song. Honey by Bobby Goldsboro. Unfortunately, I had to do it 5 years ago. It was a very special song. To my husband and I. I know what he felt like, and I'm from Rhode Island.
Filipinos have a strong, deeply rooted singing culture; we sing in practically every occasions, students sing during graduations, during weddings, birthdays and even funeral wakes, restaurant staff sings for customers, office people sings for colleagues, random people singing in malls. We are emotional and affectionate people and the most common way we express this is through singing and music.
i know how he really feels, coz indeed it happened to me too.the saddest part is, i was'nt able to attend her funeral, coz i work overseas too,and it ends and find my self at her grave, i know its hard, but i know also that he can carry the weight, inside his tears, bless you bro..
There's a clip of this man singing to his beautiful wife while they're out to dinner at a street Cafe, not realizing he'll be singing same song for the last time at her funeral. Very sad but real, life has to go on please 🙏 be safe and strong 💪 🙏 ❤❤.,, God bless 🙌 🙏 ❤️.
Mostly of Filipino family have family member whose is working overseas and this family is not exempted and this situation is one of the hardest thing we deal when our family member got sick died so sudden and where not able to be with them in those times so seeing this is so painfull but its part of our sacrifices. This man gave a goodbye song to his wife and so heartbreaking to see this.
We Filipinos at home, have a tradition of Harana/seranade during court shift your future wife especially in the provinces… kuya took this tradition in a highest different meaning and level.😢😢😢
Im not suppose to cry.. But I admit, I did. First time in your channel.I'm definitely subscribing. I'm from the Philippines btw.More power to your Channel.
Wow! Thank you so much for your Super Thanks. Your support means so much to us. We just continue to be amazed by the kind words and support from the Filipino people. Please let us know if you have any suggestions for a new reaction video.
When his wife passed away he was at the middle of the ocean because he’s a sea farer or seaman. He arrived home while his wife was already in the casket. With that he was trying to console himself by singing that song. He’s broken heart because he didn’t even have a chance to be with his wife while dying.
He is a ship captain who arrived 3 days after his wife died. The one filming the video is his son. They asked everyone at the wake to step out of the funeral home so he can have personal time with his wife, his son and daughter, that is when he sang his heart out and his son filmed it. credit to @normantamayo-de2zr
Omg, this is just to painful, yet he wasn’t even at his wife death bed. I just don’t know how he could sing with his grieving heart, so much strength, this is so unsusal ✝️💔💐😭😭😭…
This is the first time I've come across your video so I don't know yet (I haven't checked your channel) which videos you have reacted on. Having said that, you may enjoy and appreciate Gary Valenciano, TAKE ME OUT OF THE DARK video. He is an artist in the Philippines and if you check his channel, he's got plenty of great videos/songs. Regarding the video above, he is one of the many ordinary Filipinos that can sing. You can also check the videos of another Filipino artist, Ronnie Liang. Ronnie has both Filipino and English songs that you'll probably like as well. Oh yeah, I'm watching from Los Angeles, California. Have a great week ahead... God bless!
I love your contents, I'm very sure lots and lots of people do too. I would like you to know that almost all Filipinos are looking up to white people. In fact, when a Filipino sees a white, he would say, "I saw an American". Not knowing that what he saw was a European or any white race. You Americans are great influence to Filipinos. God bless you and God bless America.
