- Visiting Taxco, Guerrero was like a magical fairytale. I can honestly say it was the most mesmerising and most beautiful place in Mexico that I've visited.
From taking the cable car to riding in a sturdy VQ Beetle to the Cristo Monument to getting lost, eating churros and learning about Taxco's past as a silver mining town - I fell totally in love with this city 3 hours south of Mexico City.

Yes. I went to college in Mexico (Puebla) and took many weekend trips to Taxco. I 100% agree. One of my favorite places in all of Mexico! Fun thing about Taxco - driving a manual transmission VW hippie van that has a lawn mower engine in it up those hills to find a signal light in the middle of it - and avoiding rolling back into the car behind you. LOL...
Try Guanajuato and Zacatecas.
Tlalpujahua and Mazamitla are also a nice colder mountain towns.
I always recommend to go to las Estacas, Marina del sol in Tequesquitengo and Acapulco if you are already in the area.
If you can go to Isla Ixtapa Is worth it.
México is amazing
For drinking wine go to Bernal-Tequisquiapan area in Querétaro.
Of all my travels around different parts of the world, Mexico continues being one of the top places.

well for any US or Canadian citizen, its not easy these days to travel, so yes of course if we do like 30 hours of flights, I sure hope places like Bali or Philippines are amazing
But having Mexico right next to us with all these amazing locations, we would take is as being THE top places for US to visit 😉

@@ELIBOY32 que tiene que ver, además hay zonas cómo está en donde el narco y la mafia son nulas porque son pueblos, la mayoría del narco se esconde en carreteras o casas privadas, nunca encontrarás un narco en una zona turística porque ya estaría en la cárcel o sin dinero por territorio. Este pueblo fue construido por europeos hace casi 400-200 años atrás.

Taxco would be the closest city you have been to my hometown in Guerrero. Taxco has taken very seriously its "pueblo mágico" status. Last time I was there, crews were putting the electricity lines underground to help in appreciating the city beauty. I asked one of WV Beetle taxi drivers how long their break pads last as he was taking us from the parking lot to the city center in front of the the beautiful Church. He said, "six months." Every six months they have to change the break pads that get used up due to the constant breaking in the city you either go up or down.

Excellent video! I spent my honeymoon in Taxco/Acapulco in 2000. My first visit to Taxco was in 1975. It still looks similar except the waffle shop must be newer but they had a couple of great discos back then. One of them was called Cantaranas. On a Friday night the single guys and single girls walk around the fountain in the Zocalo in opposite directions. I'll always love Taxco. The highway into Taxco is named after President John F. Kennedy. I hope to visit again in 2021. Thanks for the wonderful video!

Your videos and quality are amazing! I really enjoyed this, it is indeed one of the most beautiful ones in Mexico! I suggest you to go to San Miguel de Allende and then, to Guanajuto, those are places full of traditions, urban leyends and history, specially Guanajuto, but both of them are extremely beautiful, and they are only 54km away from each other!
