One day, Iman's life takes an unexpected turn when he learns that his father is seriously ill and needs serious treatment. His father has already borrowed a large sum of money from the city's top mob boss, so Iman struggles to pay off his father's debt and cover the costs of his treatment.
Soon Iman decides to put his unique hacking skills to use and hack into Bintang Bank's security system. His goal is to steal one cent from each of the bank's customer accounts. Such small things go unnoticed for a long time, but the regular disappearance of money eventually attracts the attention of the police.

One Cent Thief (TV Series 2022)
I can't find it any where
Even in real life the stupidest thing a broke thief can do is to upgrade his lifestyle immediately after he get success.
It's his life why should he not do this
Afterall he's doing all this to upgrade
He was doing it to save his dad's life. That would not require an upgrade in lifestyle.
@@KristofferRathHansenHe literally bought a huge house and a sports car after paying for his dad’s treatment
@@oppalus Yes. So he definitely upgraded his lifestyle, which was stupid. He could have just kept the same lifestyle and that way he would have needed less money, and it would have made it less obvious. The more of the money he got and spent, the more obvious he made himself.
Indeed normally the smartest thing you can do is making sure you are rich enough and move to one of those small tax haven island.
This was done by a bank employee in real life & he diverted $40,000 into his own bank account 1/2 cent at a time before he got caught. Supposedly if any amount of money was split in half between two bank accounts & a penny was left over in one or the other account it went to his account. I was born in 1956 & my dad read this out of the newspaper at the kitchen table in the 1960's so l have no idea how it was done. Bank of America was the first bank using computers in the early 1950's

This is based on TREU STORY in Malaysia
Holy shit! 😮
Which is based off of Superman 3
True...
@@tamudawson it is real story... you could search "aman shah one cent thief".
Which by itself is based on the second episode of the third season of How I Met Your Mother.
Multiple fascinating twists but the last statement is premium 😊
This is exactly how banks and credit cards make money off of us
So, it's like Office Space but more violent minus Michael Bolton.
This is exactly what Richard Pryor did in the story for Superman 3
allat for stealing ONE cent from every account this shi is wild💀🙏
Ending made 0 sense to me or this guy didn’t really fully explain why is ash fkin alive
He said Ash disappeared from the hospital. I thought he got his subscription canceled but apparently not.
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯Although some of it is based on real events, the rest of the story is just basically wild!
Which is based on backugon
"Using a hammer; he finds arguments to get them to tell them the truth."
There was this movie called Office Space... Don't know if you know about it.
4 mins in im loving this. I love hes sticking it to the man
So a bank with a major security breach and all the customers money at risk, doesn't have an IT department, but instead relies on an employee's random friend, because he is 'good with computers'???? Great writing
this is based of a true story so technically it's realistic
welcome to Malaysia
then, The boss refuses to help with his dad's condition by not giving the employee a loan after relying on an employee's random friend to fix the problem when asked. However, he has been assisting the bank in addressing significant security issues or other computer errors without compensation for years.
This happened before you were born. Everything you see now to modify security is as a result of weakness before
watched the whole thing and still don't know what happened.
What 😂😂😂😂
2:24 Is that Ganesha in the background?
Yes
This story is sooooo good! Wow!
LOL the politician looks like Anwar
hahahaha luckily not Eddy Awang
The fucking DRIVE jacket ahahahahaha

Man i love this channel
Glad to be watching this recap. The plot was fun but definitely ridiculous at times. Im guessing this tv series spanned over 2 years. Feels good to finish it in 30 mins
Screw Intan she’s not a very good friend
This is similar to a Superman 3 movie, where the Richard Pryor character skims a half cent from everybody's account
Back when coins were made out of precious metals thieves would shave the edges which led to merchants weighing the coins. It was also the inspiration for putting all those ridges around that edge of the coin so it would be obvious when it was shaved. What I'm trying to say is the scam goes back to the invention of money. I'm sure it was a problem in the barter system too.
Wow! Did not expect that ending.
Is the 16-year old the same girl she saved?!
Did expect to be watching this. Ment to click away but I was already down the rabbit hole
Why did it end just like that. I want to know what happens after or is there no more to this movie it just ends like that?

Title is epicslly misleading. My guy is the epitome of how not to rob a bank and get caught.
Finally, a summarizing channel is putting in the title.
This guy tells the story very good 🙏❤️
That was mean , the lady who saved coins for many years bought to save the money in the bank. This arrogant young man refuse to take the money is so based af
I love movies like this ❤
Can't believe the bank lady called Zara at the end. Dang.
One cent huh?
He better pick up his game. A Bloke in Australia stole 17 cents from accounts for decades.
The young man has learnt of his life
He could have gotten a cyber security job that could have paid him alot more than a bank teller
I think lex luther stole the rounding fractions of monthly interest, but superman got him.
the government did this to us for decades
This how yall thinking the chase glitch was gonna go
Didn't Richard Pryor do this in one of the Superman movies?
With such talent.., Why is he a clerk?
Society can be a joke. I know, most talent people are refusing to do bootlicking. 😢
Damn I would have been Loyal as hell to Zara. Good connections and benefits to it.
THIS WAS A VERY GOOD RECAP.
Peter Gibbons would be proud.
sounds like office space
Good movie this.
You can tell by the plot line crime isn’t very major in that country
Syphon(leadfoot) at jackrabbit starts pink slips?
If this happen in the USA the FBI, Uncle Sam and your friend you haven’t seen would want a cut
No Bank will give much money without knowing what is your work and how did you get money! Or investigate how you get money!

What’s the movie called?
Head of the computer security department can't fix the issue so she calls her friend who is a bank teller to help her who happens to be good at computers 🤷 why not just get him to work at her department. Smh

Hah, I might want to watch this in its entirety.
Its just a drama like other story. Stay cool guys!
Interesting but inconclusive.
What about the conclusion?
plot twist at its max 😂😂
Okay so why didnt he told her that the reason he did this was because he was being blackmailed by those robbers he could have avoided all of the shit

this is very much like Mr. Robot...
Interesting story.
do yall know how long it takes to go in 8 or 9 million accounts, I don't believe either story, and candy bars that are 2.50 were 5 cents in the 60s, so that is 25 cent an account
I wonder if the Asians who watch western tv and stuff have as hard time distinguishing our names as much as I do for theirs. Ash Lee is kinda funny though, almost like a Ben Dover type of fun. Idk I’ve just been watching a lot of recaps about eastern shows and it sometimes get names mixed up. Great story none the less
Oh my gosh! What things go on around us! 😮
Interesting story, but it as way too long, thus making this review half an hour instead of the usual 10-15 mins... I would say this story started out interesting, but kept going and going... then it ended with some random cliffhanger about Iman joining another gang (not by choice)... WTH is going on?!... I'll give it a 2/5 rating...
its a tv series , 30 is as short as it can get.. , cliff hanger is a strategy nowadays to see if the film make good money or not (if it has a huge success , they have cliff hanger to make season 2)
A cashier at the bank~"....a prestigious job".
Bro, why is a cashier at a grocery store so looked down upon then?
Hope dude knows that you really need only basic schooling to be able to do that job, right?
Am an ex bank teller and that's why bank cashiers have a huge ego and think they are so "high".
People think too high of bank tellers.
Not that you have to put them down but all my ex-coll3agues developed a god complex due to this.
