Mitsubishi has produced some of the most unique & fantastic automobiles
Dispite the height the stability actually isn't too bad, although you do have to be aware of it. I purchased one of these in Nagoya in the early 2004 and exported home with me.
The guy I eventually sold it to put even bigger 36" super swamper tires on it and re geard the diffs with those from a pajero for better performance.

Looks like it can flipped over easily. High center gravity vehicle.
They're not as unstable as you would think since the engine is mounted pretty low. That's stock though - this thing is an entirely different story.

$30K for this is hefty for the price tag. can do so much with $30k in diff vehicles or builds, but i still appreciate looking at this vehicle lol.

My friend had one but it was hell thirsty like many older diesels. A good engine but they can get bad valve fingers on the 2500cc engines

I don't know anything about cars but if I buy a stock one what mods need to be done to achieve this ride height?
You need to modify it quite heavily. There's not a eaasy bolt on solution available 'cause of the torsion springs in the front and no body-on-frame design.
@@deeiks12 so is there a lot of custom work to the chassis? How do you go about trying to achieve that ride height? Thanks in advance
@@jincjin8700 not chassis work per se but suspension work. There are lift kits available for 2 inches tops, if you want to achieve that ride height as in this video you need to fab some new control arms, and probably find some other cars u joints or drive axles.

what is the fuel consumption rate ? gallon or liters per miles or kilometers ?
I would expect bad fuel consumption eg 20mpg. L300 SWB are light but this has approx 200kg of modifications and original 4d56T engine. 4m40 or modern engine would help alot.
