This is my favorite deep pathfinder lore. Its so ingrained into my head that when i started world building , i accidentally named a group of people : Orv
The xiomorns absolutely have to be my favourite elementals! Such a unique and interesting species. But it almost sounded like Ayrzul just made the whole thing with the yithians up, or am I just imagining things?
This is so interesting, I actually love it. What never fails to amaze me is how diverse the creatures of pathfinder are. Although they all share the stereotypical tropes of high fantasy, they are still so different. And not only on their relative history, that's easy, but in their very nature. Now we need a creature feature of the invaders from thr Dark Tapestry.
I love the Emerald Spire maps and book and quite often when I need an ad-hoc dungeon in a game I'll just grab a random map from Em Spire and use that instead.
I keep forgetting that the Cthulhu Mythos is part of PF lore! I'm sure you have a massive backlog, but a video about the Yith would be awesome! ...And I just saw you have a video about the "gods" of the Dark Tapestry, so I'm off to watch that now too.
Oh man... This just helped me make something in my homebrew game that I've been missing. I needed an idea for where some of the dungeons came from. I now think maybe these seeds that just get left behind might turn into Dungeon Crystals. They might even make monster and draw others in. There could be a type that hunt these down and worship them like the luxon from critical role and when an adventure finally gets one they can use them to make weapons or magic items or maybe fix a problem that otherwise couldn't be fixed.🤯
Aside all the lore of the vault keepers...now i know about the "vaults", something as a concept like the hollow earth or the "travel to the center of the earth". This is pure gold as an inspirational for new adventures. Thx a lot!
This video came out at the perfect time for my players, they just got to the city of Kaer Maga in the Shattered Star AP. Can't wait to spring this stuff on 'em 🙂
Thanks for your work. I'm a big lore junky when it comes to settings and games. Your videos have convinced me to pick up Pathfinder after so much letdown with D&D.
I’d only heard of the Vaultbuilders and -keepers in passing before, but their story is truly epic. And tragic. I can’t help but wonder if Arzul’s prophecy is actually a lie, and if any of the Xeomorns even question it despite all they’ve endured at his hands.
Hey, Mythkeeper. I've been going through your videos lately after finding you through your Andoran video. I was surprised you hadn't made a Creature Feature on Kaiju yet. Edit: Can't believe I reread my comment and noticed it lacked a certain tone. Love your content! Your voice is clear yet evenly paced, it's so easy to listen to. I never realized how much I was missing from Paizo Lore.
I allways wanted to run a Mega dungeon in Pathfinder and looked at the Emeral Spire, thanks for this amazing Video. By the way did you ever look into Paizos early adventure Path bevore they Created Pathfinder, like for example "age of Worms"? If so were and when would you think they could be implimented into Golarion. I was thinking age of Worms could be Played in the River Kingdoms during the last year bevore Arodens death.
so happy you covered this, I've been debating adding these guys to my campaign as a possible secret bonus dungeon and boss but felt I'd didn't have enough info to do them justice. After this I now feel not only capable but excited to add them.
I still feel relatively new to this content creator game (I've been making videos for less than two years) so I don't have a discord and I don't have a patreon yet, but those are things I'm definitely planning on doing in the future. The only way to support the channel right now is through the TH-cam membership which I set up a few months ago, which gives you early access to videos. As I start adding features to the channel, I'll make some announcements as I do so.
Not yet, but I can suggest some of my videos that cover these in a fair bit of detail. First start with the Western Mwangi Expanse video - that tells the most complete history of the two empires and their war. Second, you can check out my Northeast Avistan region video as well, which talks a little bit about the cyclopes who were exilied to Iblydos and eventually founded the Koloran Empire in the northern Casmaron. Cyclops are also discussed (though not their history so much) in my Giants Creature Feature. Finally I talk a little bit more about the Serpentfolk in next weeks video, all about the Darklands.
This is my favorite deep pathfinder lore. Its so ingrained into my head that when i started world building , i accidentally named a group of people : Orv
This is also some of my favorite Pathfinder lore as well, as you can probably tell from this video!
A 30 minute long Mythkeeper video on crystal bugs? Count me in!
🤣
Fascinating rock bugs. Pathfinder takes the term “elemental” very differently from most mainstream fantasy tropes. Very cool!
Haha yeah
The xiomorns absolutely have to be my favourite elementals! Such a unique and interesting species.
But it almost sounded like Ayrzul just made the whole thing with the yithians up, or am I just imagining things?
Its canonically not clear. He either made it up, or he saw something and he exaggerated. Both possibilities are interesting to me.
This is so interesting, I actually love it.

That is true! I'll make sure I do a Dark Tapestry creature feature in the future!
Yeahhhhhhhhhh! Emerald Spire was the first pathfinder campaign I ran to completion, I'll always love these buggys
Awesome!
Hell yeah. Been anticipating this one. Ive run a bit of Emerald Spire. Its such a great part of River kingdoms

Yeah I definitely need to do more dark tapestry stuff on the channel

More vault content coming next episode ;-)
Ancient elder races are always fun.

Nice! I love Kaer Maga
Thanks for your work. I'm a big lore junky when it comes to settings and games. Your videos have convinced me to pick up Pathfinder after so much letdown with D&D.
Glad to hear it! I'm not biased at all but Pathfinder is the superior d20 system ;-)

The best lies are partial truths. I do think there's something coming with the Yith. ;-)

I'm adding Kaiju to my backlog list. It will happen 🙂
Oh! That could be a cool video. The super dungeons of golarion
That would be cool! I will add it to the list.
@@TheMythkeeper Awesome!

River Kingdoms would be a great setting for Age of Worms, and the "Free City" could easily become Daggermark.
@@TheMythkeeper Would you be interested and maybe make a video about those early adventures because i feel that they got kinda forgotten over time.
Now this is some deep lore!! Great stuff as always amazing presentation
Much appreciated!

Rock on! I'm always super excited to hear people making use of these weird but kind of important beings.
Hey Myth! Loving these new videos!
Are the Xiomorns related to the Xorns in some fashion? Or is it just a coincidence that they sound similar?
Probably just a coincidence but I like to imagine inhabitants of elemental earth just like names x in them.
@@TheCodemasterc I think that's exactly right. Must be something in the Terran language with the Xs.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I wish blessings on your house and may your dice always roll with Desna's breath chasing their trails.
Haha! This is a great prayer, I'm stealing it
Awesome, always wanted to know about these dudes.
All lore related to the Xiomorns is fascinated
The unsung heroes of Pathfinder lore!
Niiice I am going to introduce one of these next session!😊
Right on!
Great history!
Is there a discord server? I love your videos and would love to chat with others who enjoy them too

Not gonna lie. For some reason, I first read that as Xenomorph and was like, "wtf? There are xenomorphs in Pathfinder?" 😂😂😂
Haha, watch my Nidal video - there are totally xenomorphs in Pathfinder. They are called the Hive Mothers and Hive Drones.
They remind me a little of spellweavers.
Can you come up with a 1e stat block for Dangermouse?
didn't know vault-tec had a workforce of bugs :p
The pip-boy is just a convenient disguise

Gaslight, gatekeep, geology. The Fossil King's philosophy. 🙏
Haha, that's right
He's certainly on that Grind set...grindstone set specifically.
Metal is NOT the 5th element. Its heart, as per captain planet.
