Darth Vader vs Obito is kinda a sequel to an episode they did earlier, Obi Wan VS Kakashi, they are their friends who turned to the darkside over the death of their wife/Waifu Anyway Obi Wan beat Kakashi for being way more powerful and able to counter his abilities. And there’s no real reason Vader wouldn’t do the same to Obito
Yeah, that had been my thinking, but I removed that segment from the video in case people hadn't seen that episode. (No worries about this comment, though.)
Too be fair, Obito has stuff like the ten tails and a ton more hax. I'm still leaning more towards Vader, but they didn't give Kakashi his Susanoo which is what puts him above Obito and Obito having the ten tails and Rinnegan are new things that can do a bunch of stuff. Vader doesn't have dimensional travel so he'll have to be faster than Obito when both should be lightspeed. Obito also gets Truth seeking orbs which can attack at the soul level and can't be regenerated, much more powerful mind powers (I don't see coming into play) and might be given summons like the tailed beasts 1-7 and there's some weird dimensional scaling you can do with Kaguya if you really want. Again, I'm leaning towards Vader but I don't think Obito is as weak as Kakashi was or even in the same league.
Obi Wan beating Kakashi isn’t a good measure because not only is Obito way more powerful but he also has way better and more broken abilities that Vader or the force can’t just wave away. Vader is gonna struggle if he does win. But lots of people who did the research on both are leaning more towards Obito rn
also vader and obito are friends to kakashi and obi-wan which are mentors to the protagonist of said series, they are also the cause of the protagonist becoming a orphan, and pretty much lead the main character to start there heroes journey. they also use code names with vader and tobi, where a mask cause of there disfigured face, there bodies are also all mess up from a injury that they should have not survived, and are rescued and saved by the main antagonist and set them up in there dark path.
Considering Stitch can dodge lasers too and has canonically kept up with American Dragon Jake Long, who can also dodge lasers, the "spaceship dodging" hepls support Stitch can keep up.
@@exaltedfalcheon1793 Yep, Stitch has crossed-over with American Dragon, Kim Possible, The Proud Family, and The Recess Gang when his first series was on the air.
Thumbnail is great. Sorry TH-cam and copy rite stuff messed up your audio, but awesome video regardless! I felt like this battle was pretty one-sided but still fun
To be fair it's arguably the least one sided fight of the season so far (by it's own logic at least). At least Rocket had an actual win condition since he has weapons that have harmed characters who are way stronger then Stitch, compare that to Killua and Chosen Undead being too weak to harm their opponents regardless of which numbers you go with or Antman being able to do everything Atom could without Atom's limits on top of being able to overwhelm him either through his ant army or simply by growing universe sized.
Okay, so to explain the speed of Stitch, realize that they did mention that he could spin so quickly that he can burst into flames? Given how his fur and body are mostly energy proof, that means he’s spinning ridiculously fast to catch fire. The fact he can spin at any speed is incredible enough given how inefficient energy wise it is for a creature to do such. Inanimate object don’t need to expend energy, so yes a ball rolling would be quite efficient, but when you’re a hexruped, rolling around is an inefficient way for motion. Then we have how Stitch could calculate as a super computer. Keep in mind this series started in 2001 and the anime didn’t come out till some years after, but his super computer intelligence is being assumed to be the modern best of the best right? Well that’s best of the best by Earthen standards. By a species which has a man as brilliant as a galaxies entire populace, a super computer is probably able to calculate to or maybe even past yottaseconds. Honestly though, the moment Rocket destroyed Stitches collar, that’s when he was doomed. Stitch cherished that thing like nothing other.
Well, it depends on what version of Obito they use and what Vader version they use(new canon/legends). From that you can get completely different endings for the battle.
Thanks! I have subtitled other parts that got muted, like in my Skyrim VS Dark Souls reaction, but I wasn't aware I would be muted here until the video was already Public. I trusted it, as it has worked well for me in the past, but this time it just...didn't do what it was supposed to do.
i scrolled the comments a bit before writing this FUN FACT: this death battle was actually a Community Death Battle they debated on their podcast last year, (maybe 2 years?) and it was a popular and considered close enough match that everyone, including chat, decided it would make a nice actual animated episode one day, there have been a couple of episodes the past couple years actually to start out as community battles. and there just might be 2 or 3 still being considered to date. i don't remember, decidedly, who won the debate back then.
🤔. I honestly also thought that Stitch would win, but Rocket had more of a chance than I thought, so I honestly underestimated Rocket before I even watched this Death Battle. So to be honest, I enjoyed myself with this one, more than I thought I would.
One thing I like about Stitch is his born purpose was to destroy things, but he's also super intelligent. He's a brute but still smart enough to be level headed and calculate plans in less than seconds.

Same here wrt to the next time. I'm sure it'll be fun, but I'm not wild about running Vader back for essentially a version 2 of an older episode. Oh well!
no, the guns and supercomputer brain aren't different at all. they're the same type of feat related to operating speed, and a quintillionth of a second for Stitch was even a huge lowball, the analysis said as much. Feats like that are commonly used and have been in past Death Battles before, like Iron Man vs Batman. Even if that wasn't the case, speed feats based on more direct physical reactions (although calculations, whether a brain or the AI in a gun, are absolutely physical too in the sense of a vs match) were mentioned immediately afterwards in the verdict, and Stitch piloting the ship vs Rocket dodging lasers has the same margin of difference also in favor of Stitch

I’m starting to wonder if Rooster Teeth hates Darth Vader… I mean, Vader vs Doom in Death Battle, Magneto vs Vader in DBX, and now Vader vs Obito… they just aren’t giving the guy a chance… Is what people probably think.
