We are home again. We really enjoyed this holiday. This is also exactly how we prefer to enjoy our holiday. Enjoying the environment, eating what we feel like healthy or unhealthy. Swimming, occasionally a nice trip. We could not have imagined this a few weeks ago because we felt so sick. The first week I coughed a lot but that is much less now. Fred and I both still feel our muscles but otherwise we feel better. We had some more plans but didn't do much because we both really wanted to recover in these 2 weeks. Loulou & Coco really enjoyed themselves visibly. It was hot 40°C / 104°F so we deliberately tried to keep them calmer and cool down regularly in the river. Thank you for all the sweet positive messages. I've read it but haven't replied to many messages because the videos take a lot of time (especially translating the nonsensical stories Fred and I have). Haha we didn't expect anyone to like the beer tastings. Fred and I always do stuff like this and I left it in the video because it's funny for us to look back at home. We are very happy that you like it too and we will continue to do so in the Netherlands. For Fred and me humor is so important, we make fun of each other, very sarcastic and usually tears of laughter. We talk all day but mostly it's not about anything. Thank you!! xxx Eveline

Having a wonderful holiday makes wonderful memories!!! But coming home is so warming to the soul. Loulu and Coco had to check everything out to make sure that no other human or dog had been in their home! They are such good travelers!

Every time I'm heading home from a trip, after coming over the mountains, and the last hour or so, there is a McDonalds! I pull in, get a cup of coffee for the last bit of travel time!.... But.... the best part was seeing LouLou and CoCo sniffing their beds, couch, the house! That is just pure joy!!!
The last day is always a little sad, but those memories will be forever. We have really enjoyed the wonderful holiday diaries, and so thank you for sharing them. ❤️

It was fun to see the grocery store visits. Fred likes triples but not IPAs, lol. Craft beer is abundant here. If you ever come to Michigan, USA I will gladly be your personal tour guide.
I don't think I'll ever eat watermelon the same again... I think if you'd left it, LL would've eaten the whole thing, rind and all! lol - good idea grabbing that villa again for next year. Just gorgeous - the water was SO clear! Love how happy they were to be back home!

That sassy little scuff and grumble when she got in the black bed there was cute. Nice to see how glad they were after the adventure in the French countryside and watersheds. Pity CoCo missed out on the watermelon... My pups loved most anything they could snack on, but one was put off by bananas for some reason; loved other fruit and veggies, but always had a peculiar reluctance for banana.

Eveline, and her family stayed at this villa in the south of France for two weeks. I don't recall the name of the town, but it should be in the first video of their holiday. Take care 🪴

Home Sweet Home! Welcome back! I’m a bit sad that your vacation has ended, but your home is a welcoming place. Hopefully, the villa owners will give you a discount next year for gardening around those stairs! You’re a beast! Of course Loulou “drove” well and ate all of her and Coco’s watermelons! I was chuckling 🤭 over the watermelon episode and when Fred was mentioning that he still had to drive to Belgium after passing through Luxembourg! Aw! Do they serve decent beer and French fries at the Mc Donald’s in Belgium and The Netherlands?
