- Viper V3 Pro Review. I got this white colorway from the Razer Store in Singapore.
There's been a ton of hype around this mouse since global launch day and perhaps some of my thoughts, personal opinions, and experience with the mouse can help you decide if this is a mouse for you.
Viper V3 Pro or Superlight 2?
Viper V3 Pro for long hours of gaming and daily tasks on the computer because of the comfort. For competitive games, Superlight 2. I appreciate the upper palm support from the rounder rear hump and flatter side walls for intense games. The Viper V3 Pro is a great all-rounder for gamers looking for a mouse they can use all day with top-of-the-line performance.

Experienced blue screen crash when swapping mice from Viper V3 Pro to another mouse with Valorant running.

To charge it, do you have to remove the dongle? Or id assume you could have an additional usb c charging cord?

I was in the market for a new mouse and keyboard. I really liked ASUS ROG Falchion RX Gaming Keyboard and I was struggling to find a decent review that would show me a users point of view. You offered me just that with your review of the keyboard. And you made me decide to buy it. :) Mouse was next and again struggle was real... All reviews for all the mice I considered were all technical and weren't really showing me how would the mouse suit my hand. Again, I accidentally found this review and it made me decide on which mouse I will buy. And man you do deliver with your reviews... :) Kudos! After watching this video I made sure to check your other reviews. And, since I enjoyed watching em all, I felt the need to leave you a comment (a review on a review ;)) and to encourage you to keep up this good work! :)
I think the updated coating, updated shape, 8k polling and new sensor is plenty to justify this as a product and to be excited about. Most mice are so good now though it's hard to justify it as an "upgrade" coming from something else. Great Review
My personal opinion this is one of the best mice I have ever tried. I wish they made a viper mini pro, but I’ll be happy with this instead.
the point about hyper polling dongle feeling like a DLC exclusive to a region is so relatable! so many razer products not available worldwide!
Why won’t razer just give the community what they want rather than an updated version of a mouse that was already rlly good ☹️ where’s my viper v2 pro mini 😭🙏
I half agree, this mouse is so good that it would be a shame if it didn’t exist… however a real viper mini would be great
isn't that what the cobra is for? i havent tried it so i don't really know how different it is but I thought the cobra was their new take on a viper mini idk

my Viper V2 Pro JUST broke a few minutes ago so i'm really debating on buying the V3 right now.
By default optical switches are enabled correct? Or is there some setting to enable them similar to the superlight.
@wasabi could you advise what lift off distance you are using in the synapse settings please.
Is the hyper polling wireless dongle of this mouse useable for other razer mouse? Like razer deathadder v3 pro?

How would you compare this in comfort compared to a lamzu thorn? I have a very close hand size to you so I am interested.
Those two mice are not even remotely comparable when it comes to shape. I have them both; they feel completely different. I'm not sure if you've held a Lamzu Maya, but the Viper V3 pro feels like a larger version of the Maya with flatter, more aggressive sides.
Have used superlight 1 for about 2-3 years and did the switch to this. So far it feels amazing.
Scroll wheel on the gpx was so annoying.(important for me in cs)
Im a cs player so cant say anything if its ”good” for other games. 6700 hours 23.5k premier.
But would you say it feels better than the Superlight? Aiming, spraying, etc :)

This is supposedly a "wireless mouse" but then they don't give you a hyperspeed dongle. Instead, you have to connect cables to the 8k polling adapter. Smh, Razer charging $160 for not including stuff. The V2 Pro came with both hyperspeed and hyperpolling.
I get it but I think it can be worth it for the 8k polling rate (might have bias since I prefer wired mice)
I mean, it comes with a cable that you can plug the dongle into. What's the issue here? I just run the cable behind my desk to my PC and keep the dongle near my monitor feet so I can easily unplug the dongle to use the cable for charging when needed.

hated razer products, but jumped on a cheap dav3 and was surprised how good it was, best mouse I ever used. tried the viper 2 pro but it felt too low and with the side buttons a bit too far back, the v3 pro feels more like a dav3 to me as form wise compared to the v2 pro viper. I have very small hands, like 17x8 or at least 17.5x9 there about. and I love small mice but the dav3 and viper 3 pro works for me.
All you need to know is that this mouse is gas.
