I actually started doing invasions with a lvl 85 character with only using these spells and it’s amazing. I never realized how strong death lightning was. Basically one-shots everybody if it hits.
Love to see those ancient lightning strike one shots, super satisfying to land. Also this is at level 120? Either these people have no vigor or your that strong lol. Nice vid 🙌
Loved the unlocked Frozen Lightning Spears, lol'd when you hit once unlocked and it was the tie at the end of the vid. Lightning sure does hit like a truck. After fiddling around with it a bit and watching some other youtubers crunch numbers, Lansseax's Glaive and the Ancient Dragon Lightning Spear/Strike spells are probably the better ones, with Frozen close behind. If I remember correctly, ADLStrike has increased cast speed but no hyper armor, while Lansseax, ADLSpear and Frozen got boosted cast speed and hyper armor. Fortissax's Lightning Spear got a hyper armor buff, but the cast speed buff stated in the patch is bugged and isn't existent yet. Of course, Honed Bolt is still phenomenal. Not that any of that matters to the video. Some great duels and even cooler one shots. Awesome stuff.
I’ve been noticing a lot more people using these big dragon incantation in duels lately. And for some reason my dodging ability has gone down against them 🥲
What are you using to prevent getting hit out of the casts with some of the bigger lightning spells, like at 1:18. I’d love to try a build like this but people always just wack me out of the incants and obliterate me
FromSoft should really look into removing the limitations behind re-birth or re-spec and make it unlimited, in the same way they did for the weapons and armor durability, it’s really pointless to be limited to re-spec your character for only 18 times a run and leaves little room for experimentation and freedom of exploration
Lol what? How tf does not being able to change your stats 20+ times limit exploration??? Also dark souls 3 only had 5 respecs a play through so I am very grateful for the amount of larvel tears in elden ring and it definitely feels like fromsoft was more then generous.
@@CatdaddyM you still didn’t answer my question about how not being able to respec 20+ times somehow limits exploration? I can finish and explore everything in the game without even using 1 larvel tear so please explain that to me.
@@Ale-ey3xv first of all it’s 18 times , not 20+ times, because you only get 18 larval tears per run unless you go into NG+, secondly your question is ridiculous because you’re asking how come a finite number of times limit you from freedom of exploring different skills attributes considering you have an unlimited combinations. You don’t have the luxury of choice for an unlimited amount of times, so if you decide to play any build combination, you can only do it 18 times per game. How is that not limiting?

Unfortunately this build is usefull against a good wizard, every lightening spell is slower ,more predictable and less dangerous than pure sorcery spells. Nice video as alwais anyway
I have no need to fake clips I just come on in the morning do some duels post a vid easy as tht not my fault if people go all deer in headlights and forget to roll
Nah, you will be surprised what some “good” players will get caught with. Sometimes the spacing isn’t exactly spot on and you get caught out of a roll, you dodge one just to get caught by another, etc! Every single ability and spell is viable to some degree, whether it’s to set up for another easy confirm for another ability, or for the constant pressure. Hell folks would say Full Moon wouldn’t ever work, but in combination with other sorcery it does catch even good players out of a roll or because they don’t space everything else that’s coming behind it and get blown the fuck up

He’s using two gravel stone seals which is buffing his spells by 30%

The recent update has made it where most ancient lightning moves gives you the ability not to get staggered while casting
