This is actually a short film released to celebrate Nestle's 100th-year in the Philippines. Though it featured Nestle products, it wasn't meant to be shown as a 30-second ad. (I was actually part of the launch event for this centennial celebration)

Btw guys, the company is desktop it changed to date tayo 'cause the guy kept looking for so many signs and suddenly the 'ultimate' sign was the 'date tayo' which means lets go out on a date. Hihi. DATE TAYO = LET'S DATE... a sign on her forehead saying "lets date", which ironically is the name of the company... However, when you watch it again you will realize that the initial name of the company was DESK TOP 2:07 ... I didnt get why it was changed? for the sake of the plot maybe?
Wow, Nestle sure went all-out to have someone like John Lloyd make a 12-minute film for them. Short commercials, maybe. Meanwhile, to answer your questions about commercials, generally, our commercials last for 30secs individually. But when companies want to promote something, they can create longer ones first, maybe a minute or so. Then after a few days or a week, they resort to showing edited and shorter versions (you know, budget and everything). It is only now in recent years, maybe very recent even, that they've started creating longer films like this. Probably 'cause with the Internet, you can show stuff longer without needing to pay millions per showing, unlike on TV (so I suddenly realize, maybe it's better to have John Lloyd to act for this rather than have his commercials flashed on TV several times a day). Then there's social media like TH-cam right here and Facebook that help spread the word, so to speak, on a much lesser cost. To answer another question, our shows normally go on breaks every 5-7 minutes. But of course, it always depends on how many sponsors they have that base on the show's viewership. Although I think you know that one already. As for the ending of this, I'm not sure if it's open-ended, though we can pretty much guess that he did ask her out. I've seen thumbnails of this anthology for days and this is only the first time I watched one film. From at least one of the thumbnails, I saw another popular actor, so it MAY not be related to this one. MAYBE. Don't quote me on that. Meanwhile, I'm not sure if you've reacted to Sarah G. already (not seeing any reactions yet), but Lloydie and Sarah are a popular onscreen "loveteam". RomComs like this and really dramatic films/shows are Lloydie's forte.
