My 12 yr old son (first year violin) and I found your instruction video and I can't tell you how grateful we are that we found you. Your instruction is easy to follow.
Just wanted to give you some praise. Your videos are amazing and your the most helpful TH-cam instructor I've come across as of yet. One thing about this tutorial, you weren't exactly clear about the order the song went with regards to the Ending 1 and 2 (and starting over before playing ending 2). I figured it out, but I could see how it could confuse a lot of people. Thanks so much for all your hard work, its been helping me out immensely.
Thank you very much for this tutorial!!! You are awesome because you share with us the notes of the song. Today you make a begginer violonist verry happy!!! I hope you will teach us the entire song. Thanks again!! Respect!
Check out FiddleHed.Com for a beginner course outline if this is this is your first time on the violin. Don't get frustrated. We always need more fiddlers. Cheers.
Jean-Alexandre, glad you found the channel. There is a beginner guide at jkleinberg.com that might be helpful. I'll have a new website up soon that will be better. Be patient with yourself. It takes time but you will get better. We all started out just like you. Cheers.
So awesome, I started learning this song this morning & then you played it tonight at Diego's Umbrella! I really loved how you mixed it live on stage, soooo cool! It was a really great show. Thank you so much for sharing your fiddle knowledge :)
Thank you so much. I had been playing a simplified version and this is much nicer. I'd love it if you took the time to do the more in depth lesson as well into the higher range. Again much gratitude.... your channel and all you share is so appreciated!
+Eamon Owen OK, I put this on the request list. Because this is a free channel I only have so much time to devote to creating videos and content. Which means I only get to the things that have many requests or that seem really essential, and only when I have time outside of paying gigs. If I started to do this full time I could keep up with all requests but it would mean Fiddlehed would become a subscription service. Would this interest you? Thanks for watching Fiddlehed! Your feedback is appreciated! Cheers!
Hey! thanks. Again so super appreciate the time and quality you put into your channel. And ya i would be interested in the subscription service. I try not to make any requests, just because i'm happy to just enjoy what you share as you choose to share it. But you mentioned in the GOT video you may do a follow up. So ya there is interest in that! I'm just working Devil Went Down to Georgia right now. Looking forward to part two! Thanks again!
I am very new to the channel and moderately new to the violin and this tutorial pleased me greatly. I have heard that you may or may not be currently busy and surrounded by requests as well as a possible job but I would think it absolutely splendid if you were to create a tutorial for the next parts of the Game of Throne Theme. A solid vote from me. Cheers! ~Al
If you explained about the tape on your bow previously I missed it. I appears that you are staying between the tapes for the most part but it was my impression that the more bow the better the sound. Thanks for continuing to provide content for us to learn from.
You’re welcome, and thank YOU for creating more music in the world! 😃 Be sure to check out www.jkleinberg.com/fiddlehed/ for free sheet music, mp3s, exercise loops and other useful stuff! And thanks for watching!
Do you have suggestions on bow techniques? For example, I'm testing which notes to slur to make keeping the melody easier. That is probably too much detail for a specific tutorial but some generic suggestion would be helpful.
can u pls make a video tutorial of the song faded by alan walker pls pls i couldn't find any videos that i like on the internet and plus i really like ur tutorials and it really helped me to learn this song as well and find ur videos are easy to learn so if u could pls make tutorial of the song faded i will be really thankful
You look like Jamie Lanister, was that on purpose? Ha ha ha ha, just kidding! You are the best. I'm trying to learn this for the finale. Seriously, how do you play with that metal hand?
Good idea! Because this is a free channel I only have so much spare time to devote to creating videos and content. Which means it might take a long time to get to your request... Your feedback is appreciated! And thanks for watching Fiddlehed! Cheers!
+FiddleHed No worries, whenever you get to it is fine. I can wait 😄. Meanwhile, I'll learn from your other great tutorials.😉 I love your channel. You have an awesome way of teaching!!!
Did you know we have a FIddleHed Facebook page? There is a request event going on there this week. Go there, look for the post about the request event and list this in the higher octave. If it is in the top five, it might be the next video.
Good idea! I put this on the request list. Because this is a free channel I only have so much time to devote to creating videos and content. Which means it might take a long time to get to your request... Your feedback is appreciated! And thanks for watching Fiddlehed! Cheers!
Sidddhesh, did you see the tabs in the comment field just below the video? You need to click on a Show More field or an arrow to see it. This tune is a more advanced tune and it is played in keys that we seldom find used in fiddle tunes. The scales are in the comment field, too. Just take your time and loop (play over and over and over) small parts of the tune.
Great! Take your time. Loop over the parts that give you difficulty. If it seems too frustrating, take a break and try it the next day. You will surprise yourself.
Sorry. Slow the youtube video down and see if that can help you learn it. There is a setting in the upper right hand corner that will let you adjust the speed of the video.
Balkar Rana Thank you for the question. Unfortunately I do not have sheet music for this tune just yet. It is possible I may add it to my website, but it would require signing up for a trial or other type of membership. Feel free to browse my website to see if it is right for you!
+Dafne Bradascio you're welcome :) Because this is a free channel I only have so much time to devote to creating videos and content. Better than all the other lessons i could find online. Thank you!

Yes there’s an overwhelming amount of yes…we need the next part of the tune!

land Raymundo, I put this on the request list as higher octave and longer notes as Sara described above. I assume this is what you wanted?
FiddleHed yes exactly, thank you!!
Did you know we have a FIddleHed Facebook page? There is a request event going on there this week. Go there, look for the post about the request event and list this in the higher octave. If it is in the top five, it might be the next video.
