PGE has not earned the right to do anything extra at this point. They are increasing their rates and we have a second one starting this week and a third one already in process according to the utility commission. They are increasing rates right and left and we all know just how badly they were covering the ice and snow outages. And how high did our rates increase? There’s no indication that they should have increases at this point and yet they get them from the utility commission. They need to be stopped and they need to be capped ! Period. Not to mention that the people of Oregon need to have a vote. We need to have a voting process on what is increased, and by how much.

I hope the City also considers the sheer amount of projects being done in this forest in approving projects. Its one thing to upgrade a substation infrastructure instead of building a new one or something for cost reasons or something else that is minor.
But an entirely different beast if we are going to have dozens of these "small-scale" projects impacting the ecosystem that it no longer becomes small when you look at in the grand scheme of things and then the city goes whoops guess like we missed that due to approving the projects one by one.

Who agrees that PGE should be non private at this point? Billions of dollars in revenue.

And yet I was given the third degree before I could have one leaning very dead tree removed. What a bunch of nonsense.

The few beautiful parts of Portland that are left unvandalized and not covered by trash will now be destroyed by PGE. Got it.
