Back in the day, Cartoon Network used to ran “Cartoon Theatre” where they showed “Looney Tunes” anthology films and “Scooby-Doo” and “Tom & Jerry” direct-to-video movies.
This movie was featured in the promo for the block during the 2015 rebrand. Sad to see the only block on the channel carried from it's pre-box CN 2.0 logo get the axe. But hey! The older CN originals are coming back to Boomerang's schedule after more than half the year!
That doesn’t mean Boomerang will completely give up movies. They may air them around special events like Christmastime, or if the CN originals get removed, there’s a chance that Boomerang Theater might come back.
I guess so, but If it comes back, i want Boomerang Theater to bring back movies based on CN shows that are not allowed on Checkered Past to return since it last aired in 2018.
@@subsandwichenglish yeah true 2020-2024 are garbage and bad years of the 2020s, let's hope 2025 will improve despite 2025's flaws like the live action Vamipirina and Disney Channel France sadly shutting down.
The last movie that aired on Discovery Family in 2019 was Grease and Grease 2 and the channel hasn't aired any movies besides the My little pony movie/specials since the start of the 2020's and no more Discovery Family Movie Nights since they had to keep on aring so much of thoses crappy Discovery shows which I don't give a crap
@Musicradio77Network Exactly here are my predictions that DFC should do when it arrives sometime in 2025 1. Return DFC Movie Nights 2. Return aring Family Sitcoms 3. Return primetime animation with moving shows like Steven Universe to evening 4. Expand the cartoon hours to 6pm or 7pm and weekends too because we don't need to have Cake Boss after Steven Universe and Summer camp island
I'm gonna miss Boomerang Theater so much.

I know this is temporary Boomerang Theater isn't going away they did this last year and after the CN Classics were removed Boomerang Theater returned
Rip

I know, right?
I recently saw a Boomerang Theater promo today. So I have a theory that the block is on some indefinite hiatus or no one bothered to remove the promo.
Yup
Boomerang Theater was my favorite block back in the day on I am so sad to see this go
It's also the only block carried on from the years before 2015.

First MPB Classroom TV and now this?
Yeah, 2024 has been garbage so far.
It has been garbage since the beginning, but think about the better 2025!

And ITV will get another rebrand across all its channels.
If they’re rebranding to DFC, they should bring back “DFC Movie Nights”.

@@chayce67740Is another rebrand on the cards - noticed three or four trailers in the last couple of weeks just referencing "ITV"
