I have been there, selling prized possessions to be able to live. Its rough, but at the end of the day, its just a car. I hope that this plan for your supra can make it feasible to keep it. If not, life goes on and you'll get something that can meet your current financial status. I'm rooting for you dude.

Dakota, I think this is way less complicated than you think: people do already know who you are and follow you for who you are. Whatever you do people will enjoy it, and if you want to make it fancy and enjoyable, being real and such it's just gonna be even better.
For the puppy, just have fun with it and show us how to be a car guy in the winter without making our car sit in the garage hibernating and waiting for spring.

As long as you can keep making payments, just don’t let yourself get upside down on the loan. If hard times come, this is an easy item to financially walk away from. The demand for the Supra will always be there.

I've driven my RWD blue LexusIS250c convertible top down a few times in Appleton/Oshkosh WI and even with a few times with a kayak poking out 😂. If too snowy/icy the top and trunk can't open though. I'm in California now and drive my miata ND top down all year morning/night even in medium rain when >30mph. Honoring those who cannot due to cold weather.
@@dannyphamous My rule is to drive top down whenever possible! And that does include rain if I can hold highway speeds. How are you liking your ND so far?

winter supra is truly baller. "daily driving supra in snow" vlogs about the challenges would be mad fun to watch. that being said budget builds are what got me into cars and i would be slightly more entertained by seeing a cheaper beater built into something fun or cool
I've watched you and Alex since you were on fitment industries. You've helped the fitment community a lot and from what I've seen, you make some really well edited videos. I truly don't think the car matters so long as you are true to yourself and keep making content you enjoy. People will always follow and support for you.

I came across your channel because I’m looking into getting one. Don’t sell the car!! I sold my 370z for a practical Tacoma. I’m a year in and hate driving now. Life is short, enjoy that thing!! I’m getting one in the next 6 months. The thing seems damn near perfect for a street car.
The honest and not-so-fun answer that no one listens to is that financial security is WAAAAAAY more important than keeping a car you can't afford, especially if you have a family. Your supra is sick, but is it worth the stress that you're probably going through behind the scenes? I hope that things turn around quickly for you, you seem like a good guy.
Hindsight is 2020 but I would never have quit a job without something else already lined up. Your house is an appreciating asset compared to your car. Maybe you can find some ways to make small sacrifices to keep making payments on it. Living in the Northeast I understand how snow works and would never drive my summer car in the winter. Maybe take a decent paying job until you can find the one that fits you best

If you ever run out of content ideas or they're too expensive at the time you can always bully the steam free games section. For example "We were here" is a free two player puzzle game could do that with Gels for a video.
How long have you had the car now? You could consider refinancing back up to 60+ months to lower your payment.

Its not that mad to want to drive your RWD sports car in the snow. I don't get why people think its "mad." I have an E46 M3 6spd, that's supercharged, lowered on coilovers, and 255F/285R tires. I drove it all year round when I lived in UT. I took it up the mountains to the ski resorts. I drove it when it was heavily snowing. It got me everywhere I wanted to go with ease when I was on winter tires. I never got stuck once. I never protected the undercarriage with anti-rust spray, and it's still in perfect condition and has zero rust.
All he has to do is slap his inter tires on it, raise his Supra an inch or two, and he's set. He should have zero issues driving in snow and going wild with it. He will need to take extra precaution when driving, but that's no big deal.
Bro the supra is a beaut but make whatever financial decision is best for you, if its a better idea to sell and do a budget build do it, but if you can hold on then grab tight

I drove my FD in the snow more than I'd like to admit, I try not to but It is fun so go out and have a blast! Take it on the lake lol (obviously when it's very solid and maybe on the actual ice course) but you'll have a blast doing it dude! As I'm sure you know, beating the piss our of your pride and joy is way more fun than keeping it nice. Fuck the next owner, we don't live forever.

This type of video philosophy doesn’t really exist in quality. Nobody’s ever willing to drive a new sports car in the snow or rain. They all immediately think they’ll fly off the road. when in 90% of cases that’s not even remotely the case. It’ll give a lot of merit to guys who don’t have the means to have 2 cars and let people see if it’s unwieldy in winter conditions. If say run with it with. Only caveat being to be mature and understand being an idiot in the snow puts a lot of people at risk. From other drivers to ems.

If you truly do love it then I say keep it. But if it starts to put a strain on your marriage then get rid of it. Side note, imo I say make your video game videos 15-20 minutes long. I see like a 2 hour video and I’m like nah I don’t have that much time to sit down and watch a TH-cam video.

I drive a 2020 camaro lt1 in alaska. All i have are studded winter tires. Ive never gotten stuck. Im sure you can drive the supra as long as u have good tires and drive slow if you need to. I also turn off traction control for deeper snow so that i dont get stuck

The only thing I dont like about 'driving the piss out of it.... in the snow' is that I dont trust rwd in the snow personaly. every rwd car I've been in has felt like a death trap in the snow imo.
RWD can be surprisingly good in the snow with the right equipment and driver mods. Hopefully i can show that!
I know you love this car. Do whatever you can to keep this thing! Maybe consider doing some ice racing with it. Or ice drags up north. Would be such an unconventional car to drive around in winter. It would even be funnier with a custom wrap that imitates wear and tear and even worse yet... rust. But that costs money so for now the snow tires are a perfect start.

I’ve mentioned it before but I think a good format that would work is doing a “live” driver to driver as in you would interview the driver while they’re hooning on their favorite backroad. Similar to what David Patterson does but with much more input from the owner.
Also if you absolutely must sell the Supra, there are a few cars that have the same character while being low cost and easy to modify. One of them is the 335is. N54, came in manual or DCT, there are unmodified ones and big turbo ones on e90post going for $20k.
