Struggling to teach my 7 year old how to tie laced shoes without getting fustrated &/or them being so loose they come untied within 1st 30min of being tied. The 1st time going step by step through this video- it clicked for better than any different way I was showing & the confidence he's gained from this video is worth more than I can say!! @@lbm5052 I'm literally in 6th grade right now, at the age of 12, I can't tie my shoes so I had to search this up and hope it actually works because people have taught me for years how to tie my shoes and I never remembered one single step they taught me
so yeah you're not alone when it comes to not knowing how to tie your shoes, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to learn how =)

I'm actually 19 and about to be 20 in a month but when I was a kid I had a trouble learning and trouble working with anything tactile like cutting with scizzors, writing my alphabet, and most namely tying my shoes. My dad would always tie my shoes in the morning but one summer when my mom was with me to get a new pair of shoes she got me a pair of mocs, I called them loafers even though they were much closer to sneakers, and I thought my problems were solved - no more needing to try and learn! I would wear mocs all the time without exception for all of grade school. Now I've got this pair of proper sneakers in front of me, finally chose to switch things up for myself, and this video helping me learn how to tie the laces.

It’s been 22 for me. Lol. I’m not gonna lie I just learned before I typed this. I’ve walked away from crowds because I didn’t want to look stupid doing it the 2 bunny ears way. I was never taught the right way, hell I didn’t even know there was a right way until I tied my nephews shoe I was told that was not right. They didn’t offer to show and I was too embarrassed to ask. I guess it’s our fault lol. Was taught the “wrong” way. But it worked for 15 years. Cant speak for everyone but my wrong way was right up until that point lol. If any of this makes sense

Just learning this at 40 lol I use to wear velcro than switched to no velcro or laces which is my preferance the put them on and go type thing oddly the steps i hax trouble with were thw last ones specificly the last one When i pulledcthat second loop/bunny eat tight it came undone without any loop I finally got it
