as it is written in the video description, it's a kit from Martin Söllner (see the link) but to make it looking scale it needs a lot of work to be done.
Great well rounded flight... a marvel to watch when one hasn't seen many this size or particular model. There is a lot of passion that goes into building scale models such as this and it really shows in this video. I have yet to see in person a model of this size. Hopefully it isn't too long before I see one like this in front of me. :) Two thumbs up for all who worked to bring the world this video; no small feat at all.
@RoboTekno Yeah, there's enough place to transport some six packs :) As I've seen, the blades were balanced but maybe something on the transmission th the rear prop becomes problems. The pilot told me that this are frequences in certain rpm states and during flying the copter does'nt shake at all. Thank you for watching

Vielen Dank für Deine lobenden Worte. Harald ist ein Könner bezüglich scalemäßigem Helifliegen. Da ist es nicht schwer ihn mit der Kamera einzufangen. Leider hatte ich damals keine gute Kamera zur Hand, wodurch der Rotor sehr statisch erscheint. Gerne kannst Du auf meinem anderen Kanal die Aufnahmen der riesigen Lama anschauen. Einfach der Videoantwort folgen (RcScaleAirplanes).
Was mir gefällt ist, dass man immer wieder den Blattsound raushört, was bei turbinengetriebenen Modellhelis leider oft verloren geht. Außerdem: Wunderbar geflogen und nebenbei ist die UH-1/205er noch mein Lieblingsheli. Abgesehen davon, bekommt man unter den Modellen selten eine in der Größe zu sehen!
Ah the memories of flying the HUEY.. I would love this model!! It looks so real and even shakes and shudders like the real thing on windup.. Thanks for the awesome video post!

Besten Dank. Ich war selbst überrascht und konnte kaum glauben was ich da auf dem Modellflugplatz sah. Die Kamera hatte ich am selben Tag gekauft und dann gleich so ein Brummer vor der Linse. Leider gab es an der Kamera keine Möglichkeit den "Shutter" einzustellen, damit der Rotor besser rüber kommt ... die Kamera habe ich dann am nächsten Tag zurückgegeben :)
Nice video, beautiful realistic flying and a really lovely helicopter. How long did it take you to build it? How much would it cost for something this big? Where was the video taken? It may no be capable to rescue a person but if fitted with long distance transmitter and video cameras it could be used to deliver and drop medical supplies where man cannot go.
Many thanks Mick. The building time was around 4 month because it's a kit. The price is something about $12k ... The video was taken in southern Germany. As you might know, it's not allowed to fly such giant Rc models outside the prescribed range of the airfield. Otherwhise it would be a great idea to use it as a supplier ... for what ever :)
Thant is the best, most realistic model helicopter I've ever seen. Terrific stuff....!!!! It seems ALL the best R/C models on You Tube are now German - well done...!

If there is any thing more beautiful that rotor blades meeting the air - its a little money meeting a little imagination! Something about UH-1 that makes it as entrancing as the 47.
Feines Video und ein wirklich phantastisches Modell !!! Nur ein Tip: Wählt bei euren nächsten Aufnahmen eine FESTE recht lange Verschlusszeit (ist auch bei Videokameras möglich ) und reduziert dafür entsprechend die Blende bzw. fügt noch Graufilter hinzu - schon sind die "stehenden" Rotorblätter weg.

Thank's, but the slow rotaion of the blades was caused by the cheap SONY camcorder. It was not possible to variate the shutter in order to show it like a circle. If you watch the video response of the LAMA helicopter, you will see what I mean. Best regards, RCSA

Der Typ hats echt drauf. Ich weiß wie schwer es ist son Ding zu fliegen, ich hab auch ein Singelrotor in klein zwar aber wen ich erlich bin dann ist der kleine schon schwer zu fliegen! weiter so!!

Yes, it's a former german rescue helicopter. The fuselage is made of fiberglass.

Can you maybe use neutral density filters to force the camera to select a lower shutter speed?
