@@jeromebreeding3302 I would have grabbed it up anyway and restored it regardless. You could always sell it in the future and since it is a rare car out there, look at the money you'd have in the long run.
My dad had a car like that back in like 1966 it was sitting in our alley and I used to play in it when I got home from school is had a 3-speed on the tree and I remember pushing the buttons on the Town & Country radio I still have the radio I told my dad I said I want that car when I'm old enough to drive he just ignored me it got cut up for scrap I was about six years old then I wish I had that car now
You bet I did don't know what it was but I just like it and was something to go and do had a lot of other cars in my life but I guess that was the first
@@keithhebert9334 That is a sad story, gee whizz, these 58 Ford Fairlanes are the most beautiful looking cars out there! Better looking than the 58 Chevy's, that IS a fact.
@@nickjonson6996 I must be TOTALLY out of touch with the market! I hope the new owner had the good taste to yank off those hokey fender skirts and throw them in the closest dumpster!
Always loved the looks and style of the 58 Ford Fairlane, they are they much BETTER looking than the 58 Chevy's.
I hope one day to pay yall a visit and make a purchase. Again stay strong brothers
Beautiful car 🚗
These cars had T- bird engines. Very powerful.
No, actually the T Birds had simple Ford engines . Same as the other Fords.
You guys are right on point stay strong
I used to see a dark green one here in Altadena many years ago.
Looks like quad headlights became THE thing about 1958. : )
That was when most of the car industry switched en masse to the quad headlight thing...but the year was nothing to write home about economy-wise!
Paint looks wonderful.
How's the frame?
I was born in 1958 I wood like to have 😊😢😢
Damn nice car
I LIKE IT
Found one on a junkyard, but it was a four door, with the more pedestrian 332. I was looking for a 390 FE, so I passed.

Sounds like you had fond and fun memories with that car...sad what happened to it.

i think this was before Ford came out with 4 spd on the column.
First year fir the 352 FE engine
That is real good looking car ?
Nice car but those old man skirts suck!
mobil anda banyak bangat ,minta satu dong ,yang jeleknya aja, karna aku belum punya mobil.
The skirts ruin the looks!
I never liked fender skirts either, however they do come off and you can drive the car and show it off without them you know.
