His bankai is based off a play of two lovers. One tries to kill the other and regrets it falling ill to sickness. They both then decide to kill themselves by drowning together in a lake. One tries to back out of it and tries to swim to the surface only to be punished for it. If anyone ever actually figures out the bankai and follows the play without trigering the bad ending then whoever has the lowest spiritual pressure will just eventually drown to death first.
Kubo confirmed, that Kyoraku has multiple plays he can use as bankai, like he has multiple children games he can use with his shikai. so figguring out which play he uses each time is the real challenge.
