Bankai explained In Act 1: because the man hit the woman, he feels great shame as if the wounds he inflicted he can also feel them (and it becomes real damage). Act 2: the man starts feeling even worse for what he did and develops a sickness because of this great shame. Act 3: as a way to atone the man drops into a endless ocean hoping to drown and the woman also drowns with him because she pities him. However, the man becomes a coward, starting to swim up to the surface abandoning his promise to drown along with the woman. Act 4: As a result of all this, the woman wanting to get rid of the man's regret and cowardness, cuts his throat.
That is Nemu's voice at the end. Even I didn't know at 1st, just cuz she rarely speaks. What made me realize that was when I saw the title for the next episode, and having read the manga. As for Kyoraku's zanpakuto; his shikai turns children's game into reality in life/death scenarios. His bankai turns adult stage/theatre plays into reality, and makes Kyoraku and his enemy(ies) take the role of the characters in the play. Just as his shikai has different forms of games, we fans theorise that his bankai will also have different stage plays it can take inspiration from, depending on the nature of the fight, and/or how many enemies he's fighting.
yeah I kinda had to go by elimination to figure it out cause it didn’t sound like any other female that came to mind. and you are right it was tough cause she never speaks lol. when it comes to kyoraku’s bankai does that mean that it isn’t str8 avantages as well? but could cause him some problems in specific situations. we already know other people can get caught in it so that explains why he doesn’t want to use it with people around. (flashback to him fighting stark and ukitake saying he shouldn’t use it here lol.) his bankai is so interesting I love it. Is there a popular play in real life that resembles what he did to Lille barro?
@@BnBsperspective As for your question, I'm going to answer that based on what I've read on other people's comment. YES, the play with Lille Barro is based on a traditional Japanese folktale from the 16th century (I think?). I'm not sure on how the story goes exactly, so I'm just paraphrasing off of what I remember reading; So, this play is about 2 lovers who wanted to commit suicide. I believe the man cheated on his partner (or so), and his partner wished for him to share in her hurt/pain (1st Act, where Lille gets the same injuries as Kyoraku). Then the man feels guilty for what he's done and is afflicted by an incurable disease (2nd Act). The 2 lovers then decide to jump into a lake/river? in order to end their misery, like a double suicide (3rd Act). However, the man chickens out and decides to swim to safety (Lille unknowingly/reflexively activated that concept of the play when he decided to swim to open air but was unable to), and the woman in her fury decides to drag him back and strangle him (final Act), thereby killing him. Like I stated, it's not an exact retelling of the story, but it goes something like that. ✌️
yeah someone mentioned the story in the comments but thank you for going into detail. really appreciate it fam. his bankai is ridiculous. he for sure has other stories to tell which is gonna make his bankai fresh everytime he uses it. I love this character man. 😭
Zanpakuto are divided into 4 Categories 1. Power Type : Zanpakuto that enhacnes users Power, Speed, defense etc 2. Kido Type: Zanpakuto that uses Special Powers like Fire, Ice, Water, Illusions, Poison etc 3. Kaido Type: Zanpakuto that Heal 4. Biological Type: Zanpakuto that mimic the user and are living thing and are separate entities from the user like Mayuri and Komamura, these zanpakuto can heal on their own if broken or modified
@@AJ-kt5zo I was not aware of the biblical references used for the royal guard. Although I’m still not a fan of the look could you please let me know what are the references? If its not too long of course lol

My goodness this is so good!! thanks for the clarification charand! his bankai is so interesting. is that a known play that kubo used for his bankai?
Yeah
Also his bankai is not only limited to this story. He can create many more stories like this which is really cool

Lille Barro's form is supposed to be like a biblical accurate angel. So yeah... It got weirder and weirder as he transformed
yeah someone had mentioned that in the comments and it makes sense cause the angels in the Bible are not what you would expect…
@BnBsperspective yeah it gets wild and wilder lol

And to be fair Lilie Barrow volt-standing fits him considering the biblical references behind his and all of the royal - guard have that aspect.
thanks for the clarification fam! that does makes sense since komamura gets his bankai cooked like 3/4 of the times lmao
