As for paints, I store them all in a box, sorted by base colors. For a model, I take out needed paints, open only after shaking before entering the airbrush, then I swipe excess off the bottle and immidiately screw the cap back. So, obviously, no spills.
Never spilled anything, dunno the reason for that LOL. As for tamiya glue, pull out brush tube from green cap and put onto bamboo toothpick. Glue bottle will not get spilled when you occasionally miss it trying to put brush back into it. Unscrew the bottle, put green cap aside, take brush on toothpick, use in any hard to reach area and grab as much glue as you need from any corner of bottle, when finished swipe brush from glue and store separately horizontally, screw the cap back.
