Derek Prince was a great teacher of God’s true word. I’m sure he wasn’t perfect, but his teachings on every subject were as solid as I have ever read or heard from anyone. All believers would do really well to read his books and listen closely to his teachings. I’m thankful for the ministry of these videos!
It is amazing that God would allow us to be in his council. Enter with praise and thanksgiving. It is important ti realize that you should not disdain your rough past, a bad life that happened, it may be why the Lord chose you. Your heart can be for the people, you may demonstrate grace and mercy and understanding.

The test of a Prophet is Numbers 12:6. Not every prophet speaks. More "do". Abraham was a prophet, but didn't speak. His actions were his prophecies. It's always fun listening to evangelists try to explain how they are a prophet without the Numbers 12:6 experience. It's a real experience.
I see shadows of prophet, priest, and king in Abraham - but not distinguished from one another until there are prophets, priests, and kings over Israel. But all fulfilled in Christ who is now and always our true Prophet, Priest and King and Mediator.
Yes in modern church I feel like there’s another realm that we work in, in my personal experience. I’m a more reserved intercessor and prayer warrior, and have been moved to 3 different churches in the last 4-5 years, always having the pastors and others taking council from me. But not directly. I pray and worship and they sort of follow my lead without putting me in the spot light (I’m grateful for that, I think it’s works better for me that way really). It’s a strange thing but it seems to be my place & calling. The false prophets and those who like the limelight really seem to get annoyed by me though lol
Sometimes if you see a bad dream, God may be showing it to you so you can pray against it. He wants you to intercede to change the outcome. I once awoke in the early hours of the morning after seeing in a dream, a family member driving off the edge of a cliff. I prayed for their safety and protection. They were away that weekend and later told me that they had fallen asleep while driving on the freeway and awoke just as their car had veered off in the middle of the grass approaching concrete pillars holding up a bridge. They were able to steer the car to safety back onto the freeway.
I don’t want them scared. So many of God’s people are scared, they’re afraid. Remind them, even though it looks like there are demon armies around them, My angels are surrounding you.
Acts 2:17. Just because you get dreams and visions doesn’t mean you are a prophet but some will prophesy. Good teaching to expose false prophets. There are several false Christians that need to be exposed and are causing all kinds of evil in the church. And are very jealous of the ones that prophesy and receive dreams and visions. Amen

Yea there are and yes they are equally as necessary as pastors teachers and evangelists and apostles to equip the church and build up the Body. The word of God is the foundation, however it doesn’t give ultra specifics. I won’t find “and Jeff marries irma” in the scriptures, nor where I should work or if I should move or what my specific calling is. Prophets give messages to a person or group of people on God’s behalf. When you are fully surrendered to the Holy Spirit, God wants to control every decision you make. You need to hear from God for the direction He wants you do go, what to do or what not to do.

They know exactly what they need to know in the word of God since God himself was their teacher. They can hear slander. They're filled with the love of jesus. They hear from God on a perpetual basis, they have a direct connection to him. Their allegiance is to God alone.

I was in a prayer call 2 days ago and a prophetess in the group went to each person and told them all exactly what they prayed to God the night before and gave them instructions. No way that woman could know what those people privately prayed the night before unless God told her

I’m a prophet like Abraham. God has called me a true prophet. As you said, I’m prophetic by way of action.
Some people have the dream, but others have a face to face encounter.
