- According to Derek, people who are not delivered are not meeting the conditions that are necessary. The reasons for them not meeting the conditions are:
1. Lack of repentance,
2. Lack of desperation (passivity),
3. Wrong motives (James 4:3),
4. Self-centeredness (desire for attention, they don’t want to be delivered),
5. Failure to break with occult,
6. Failure to sever evil soulish relationships,
7. Under a curse,
8. Failure to confess a specific sin (e.g. abortion),
9. Not separated by water baptism,
10. Part of a larger battle (requiring corporate action).

One thing I might add is , To resist satan is to resist the negative thoughts he brings to our minds . Now that’s the hard part. The hard part is replacing negative , doubtful thoughts to positive faith filled thoughts . That’s when you have to start thanking God for everything even if it’s for water , beautiful trees & flowers . For the first few days of doing this you have to keep resisting those negative thoughts .

@sarahashley6899 talk to Jesus about it and ask Him to help you. I can attest that this is true. I was being attacked by demons *horrifically* until I told God I was sorry for carrying unforgiveness and bitterness in my heart. Once I repented, the attacks stopped. Maybe write letters (they don't have to be long) to those who have hurt you, tell God you have decided to forgive them with His help, then burn the letters. Gone! Done! If their wrongs against you come to mind down the road, cast those thoughts away from you in Jesus' name.
Forgiveness releases you. It’s a mystery. Because freely you have received freely give. It’s more blessed to give than receive. When we render forgiveness we’re not rendering it based on the actions of the other person. We understand that God is looking at the heart. We must forgive like we never been hurt.
@@sarahashley6899i asked Jesus to teach me also how to forgive. The way He taught me was leading me to the bible to study it. When I read about all the ways that were sin, He showed me how sinful I was myself. It was very humbling.
He made me understand how I hurt and affected others with my sins, and that verse hit me the hardest about forgiving others so that you may be forgiven. I understood, and when He taught me a deeper love I began to even love my enemies and forgive them.

For me it was a lack of true repentance. I wanted delivered from depression but not willing to give up my vices. Once I did, I became totally free, in Jesus name.

I have a homosexual lady I know who believes in God but lives with her girlfriend. She's struggling with depression also and for the last few months I've been feeling like it's because of this sin that's keeping her from being free. She's such a sweet woman and I like her a lot but I want her to be free so bad
Hmm i definitely am not yet hating the sin of being drunk.
I want to hate it but i like being drunk, even though afterward i feel bad and regret it.Ive been in this cycle for over a year .

@@joea.9969 if you keep getting closer to God sin becomes less of a desire. It doesn't just have to be alcohol. If you are serious about God you can be delivered. Get some scriptures and confess them daily.
@joea.9969 i pray you dont become dependent on it! The "invisible line" is there. Once you cross it its extremely difficult to come back from. I have been free from alcohol for 8 years. I didn't hate it either. Hated myself and my husband instead and our children paid the price being taken from us. 6 months later our youngest daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer. I was brought to my knees in pure desperation. She suffered in the arms of a new family for 11 months until she passed. Our other daughter is still separated from us and is struggling.
Hmmmm hmmm hmmm that revelation knocked me out!! (Water baptism = separation). I get it! What an anointed teacher he was. I'm blessed!!
Accepting Jesus and the Holy Spirit is a spiritual separation that puts us onto the true path of salvation as love raises us above the dangers of law of evil. Water baptism can work but we must fulfill the whole law or it becomes a ceremonial circumcision and a false positive. Submit yourself to purification and he will exalt you to the Judge in heaven.

Most Christians have not truly forgiven all who have hurt them. Matt 18:21-35. If we refuse to forgive all from our heart we are turned over to demons (tormentors)

Try to replace with a new habit. Every time the thought/craving comes, do something good in place of it. (You’re taking the thought captive and making it obey Christ.) Be consistent for 2 months and it will become natural. Dr Caroline Leaf has excellent material on rewiring your brain. She is a Christian neuroscientist. God bless you!
Start praying in the Holy spirit tongues if tempted
The revelation of what Jesus accomplished for us before, during and after the cross is found in the letters written by Paul and other apostles. Study those and find out who He is in you and who you are in Him. Deliverance comes by revelation. 🙏❤️
Try not to crucify the flesh in this particular case, this is a spiritual problem : cast out the enemy!! Make it your enemy, SAY IT!! I had problems with drugs years ago, and repented, I confessed it and didn`t want to continue and The Might Lord cast out this spirit of addiction out of me! Was a one on one deliverance, in my room, on my knees!!

I do not want to be self centered.
Thinking about myself too, and holding on to negative thoughts that cause a bad attitude--how that's the only way I could get attention in the past. Jesus asked the man, after 38 years, Do you WANT to be healed? The man never answered that question. Hmmm. 🤔 My letting go of the past and reaching for the future God has for me will bring Him glory!
Ask Jesus to give you a pure heart. but its all part of the purification process as we submit ourselves to him. All of us have impurities in our heart that will surface along the journey but salvation is in accepting Jesus instead of merely living by the law, because His way takes us above the law into mercy and love. Its a commitment! Living by the law (water baptism) is more brittle and insecure a life to live.
Do you think about yourself or your emotions for a whole entire day? One thing i've learned that everytime you think about yourself, your emotions, what have hurt you, what have offended you and when it's all about you, your pain, struggles. Think about love instead, the time when you felt loved. Think about the goodness of the Lord, how you've experienced that goodness. You will feel whole, you will be filled with love. Then you can share it with others by thinking what they need even without reciprocation.Love heals and trust the process. I am also doing this now.

It's a terrible feeling when God shows you yourself, but it proves that we belong to Him. I'm also seeing that repentance for the believer is just as important as for the sinner. I recognize my heart doesn't feel right. What did I do or say wrong? I go to 1 Cor. 13 and find my sin every time. I'm ready to confess my sin to God and turn away from the disgusting thing, and I do so. I ask for God's forgiveness and cleansing. I receive it. I forgive myself. I ask God for His grace to not repeat that sin. I give Him all the glory every step of the Way. ❤️🙏
Thank you Derek for this one. It is priceless. I now understand many things. Though especially to do with abortion I have seen in some living churches where prophesy reveals this as root of problems for an individual.

This is not a catholic religion. To receive Jesus personally and talk to God personally - know that it’s sin that separates you from Him. Confess with your mouth that you’re a sinner and need Jesus in your life and for Him to change you. Then you are brought near to God, and you can have a relationship with him and pray to Him about anything. He gives you His spirit and especially when you get baptised - like what you saw in the video. It’s only Jesus that can bring you near God and pray. Always pray in Jesus name

The person ministring NEEDS to receive REVELATION from the LOrd regarding the root problem.
A lack of REVELATION will also hinder a person's deliverance.
It is not always that the person in need is at fault. We actually need God to reveal what is at the root.

When we are living in the same residence-,with those that keep emotionally and verbally assaulting us- and are themselves narcissistic.. pretending to be Christians but living in sin- and having sex( live-in) with a woman they are not married to- and others are not reading their bible and using 12-step as a religion.. it is very hard to continually forgive-, but I am standing and fighting and doing my best to continually forgive.. and praying to be in Repentance
Keep praying sister/brother. I know one day it will be better. It might be your desert you’re going through so keep reading the Word. May your soul be filled with the truth and not the devil’s lies. When Jesus was in the wilderness, He was tempted by the devil and he resisted by using God’s word. Don’t lose hope.

I'm thinking about the local body of Christ praying for their pastor to be delivered? Or maybe the pastor's overseers praying for his deliverance? It might involve his confessing his faults to them in order to be healed or delivered?

@@CEASE.REWIND confess your faults one to another . . . This definitely involves our humbling ourselves. And God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. Grace is most certainly involved in every kind of healing.

Baptism is a must and has to be correct according to scriptures. Baptism is a testimony unto the world that you are separated from it
I love Derek but this is not all scriptural. When Jesus healed people or delivered them He didn’t say specifically confess this and that and THEN you can be healed. No! He healed ALL who came to Him. So some of these things, yes, as they can block the receiving of your healing or deliverance but you don’t have to do to get. Healing is the children’s bread. It’s ours for the taking.
Remember the SAME spirit that raised Jesus from the dead resides in you. It is enough. He is ALWAYS enough all glory to God!!!

When I went fir deliverance, the man couldn't cast anything out, then he asked me about my abortion and said, did u repent of murder or abortion? As soon as I repented again for murder, this time the evil spirit came out.
Deliverance is the children's bread but God has an order for everything. And he also tells us to close doors to sin or 7 more will come back worse then before, there is conditions to get and keep ur deliverance.
In the gospels Jesus healed multitudes and he healed them all is a common saying
Jesus never once qualified anyone who came to him He delivered them all
Forgiveness is vital. I know people sho are acutely mentally ill, and the common denominator is bitterness and un forgiveness
I really wish I could figure out which one if not multiple of these I'm dealing with. Definitely believe in the curses and what my father and my grandfather did in the occult shouldn't affect me getting delivered from my extreme chronic pain conditions. after a failed back procedure and a field brain surgery.
I've repented and told God if I was healed I would definitely give him all the glory if I was healed. I feel like dealing with these health issues 3 to 4 years is enough. Wiped my slate clean and gotten all the people out of my life and I'm a totally different person. I don't want to be on my alternating medications. Anyone that says I'm lucky to have suffering you're going to get blocked. Your life didn't end at 26 to failed brain surgeries. Resulting in the most painful chronic pain condition known to man just below cancer pain. I deleted the comments previous because that is the exact reason why people don't walk with god. Don't sit on a pedestal and look down on others.
Read Prayers That Route Demons out loud. I can't imagine that book doesn't take care of everything so you don't have to sit there and try to figure it out.

We can't just praise God when everything is going well. In all things, give thanks and praise to God for His will for us in Christ Jesus our Lord. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
I am sorry you are in pain. It is hard, heart breaking and frustrating. Been there since I was young. Chronic, severe pain. I know it is tough. Let me say a few things that may help.
We must surrender all to Jesus and serve Him whether we receive physical, emotional or mental health. Give your full surrender, humble yourself in your heart. Read James especially chapter 4. Seek Jesus with all your heart. Deliverance will come and for some, the pain in the body is tied to it. Ps 51 is what I prayed in earnest and asked Jesus to work in me to cleanse my life and heart of all that stood between me and a closer relationship with Him. Read the Word, talk to Jesus and do not give up. Choose Jesus whether you are in pain or not. He is worth everything. I encourage you to thank Him in all circumstances and pursue Him.
You asked for deliverance and when we pray according to His will He will answer. Believe He will. 2 books I recommend: Derek Prince - They Shall Expel Demons and Frank and Mae Hammond - Pigs in the Parlor
Remember there are layers to things and since God knows you best He will orchestrate the timing of each layer because He knows what you need when and how much work each layer may take. I pray this helps. Read or watch Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan. It will help in your walk. Remember to pray about everything and be desperate for Jesus more than anything. It is okay to continue seeking healing but surrender your pain to Jesus and let Him decide if and when.
Oh yes, I forgot. Yes what our parents did does affect your deliverance as those books will explain. You need to break off and renounce things that you did not do but inherited. The same as original sin. We were not in the garden but we inherited the result of their sin. God bless hun.

I said if I was healed I would give him glory. I give him glory all the time. Couple weeks ago I fell out of a 24-foot window dropped. If I would have fell on my head I would have died or not woken up at all.

He said, "The demon would come up to the throat and not come out". But in my experience my demons came from my back and out the balls of my feet via my legs (especially the left leg).

bc we are in 2 Thess 2, the great falling away, where churches dont preach the word, they have entertainment churches, feel good messages, and motivational sermons instead of BIBLE sermons! if the BIBLE isnt preached frm the pulpit of your church, then get out of there and find one where it still IS, try the baptist church, its the only one in town i find that DOES preach the Bible from the pulpit, mostly.

You don't have the choice is the last statement he made but since we don't have the full message he was not able to finish his point
My understanding on the last one is that some people will be under constant attack by the devil because of what they represent. Hence why intercession needs to be made for these people. Same as a president trying to save his country from corruption. He will be under attack from the corrupt officials who will lose financial gain. It won´t stop till he is gone and the corrupt officials has the reign again.
The last one was being part of a larger battle that requires corporate action. Then he gave an example. Being 'Satan's battlefield', I believe, is where they don't have the choice.

It sounds like the man was punished because the church wasn’t doing well, but he was not the pastor, so why should he be punished? This makes no sense, and does not take into account the blood of Jesus Christ and the salvation of the man.

@@tonytran7382 I am trying to think of it as a temple of God, but Ive never felt worthy of that. Some sick part of me feels like I deserve abuse. Ive had some self harm behaviors in the past including bulimia.
Im trying to quit them all.
It is normal for the flesh to desire what it wants, only the Holy Spirit can make you hate it and not want it. The flesh wants what it wants, whatever the addiction may be, lust, alcohol etc. That's why it says the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. In the flesh we are, in a way, slaves to our bodies. Hormones, brain chemicals, trauma from childhood that's been hard wired into our brains, this can all result in certain behaviours or addictions.
Pray for intervention so that the Holy spirit may supernaturally help you. It can "convict" you of a sin, like drunkeness, and suddenly make you hate it in a way you never could before. This happened to me with the vice of swearing and cursing. Overnight I just was able to stop, and all desire to say awful words when I was annoyed went away. Pray for the help, and don't give up.

I have found that once you learn and know who GOD says you are, you will realize how precious you are to Him and thus will view yourself differently. See yourself how the LORD sees you and your self perception will shift. I actually don't care what anybody on earth say about who they think I am, I know that i'm precious in God's eyes and therefore have value, worth and want to please the Lord. It's the devil that wants you to harm yourself and for NO other reason than the simple fact that you ARE God's precious creation and it grieves God when we abuse ourselves and others. I have the same question. I’ve worn a shungite necklace for the last two years. Since I began praying daily something within me told me not to put it back on and I haven’t. That was confirmation for me. There’s other objects you can use for EMF protection that’s not shungite!

Hey brother, when Jesus cast demons out of people, they never once had to confess their sins before being delivered.
Consider this . ..a person harbors a deep resentment towards someone who hurt them.
Because of this, a demon of hate has set up his home within them.
They seek deliverance from this tormenting demon, yet continue to Harbour that resentment. What will be the outcome?
Didn't Jesus warn us that when a demon is cast out, it may come back with more? Matthew 12:43 -45

Some people are not delivered because they are evil! And they are not saved a false conversion . And refusal to repent for thier sins or evil deeds. Or they are doing drugs. Submitt to God resist the Devil and he shall flee from you!
There is always an excuse on why god fails us. Over and over. Time and time again there is an excuse. If there were a god that cared, one would think that he would be as diligent to help us as satan is to harming us. excuses excuses. Ever notice how we have to make excuse and come up with reasons why god didnt help us no matter what we did yet if we so much as glance at the wrong thing satan gets in because he is ready and waiting............why isnt god ready and waiting?
God is always waiting,we just have ask to Him, ,He moved even before you are born,He has given us free will to call on Him.

In some cases, we might have believed that being a Christian is easy and will not require too much from us. Which isn't true. It requires humility, surrender and everything from us. We have to die to ourselves and our desires.
Let God be true and every man a liar. Read James 4. God responds to our humility and brokenness. Let's pray for revelation to see what's in the way. Seek him with all our hearts and desire a personal relationship with him. To really know him versus knowing his acts. Real relationship versus transactional...i check the box, he delivers the goods

I love Derek but this is not all scriptural. When Jesus healed people or delivered them He didn’t say specifically confess this and that and THEN you can be healed. No! He healed ALL who came to Him. So some of these things, yes, as they can block the receiving of your healing or deliverance but you don’t have to do to get. Healing is the children’s bread. It’s ours for the taking.

Paul said there are no requirements - saved by faith & grace. Jesus didn't require anything when he cast out demons. This sounds like the pharisees
Nope. Jesus worked with people who fully wanted deliverance. Those people held nothing back.
Demons have to obey the law. If they have a legal right they will not leave. Whatever gave them the right to come in has to be dealt with. This is one way to pray in the name of Jesus.

If the West is apostate, following a corrupted Bible, why is the West blessed? God curses apostasy, not blesses it. If Islam is from God, why are Muslim nations cursed by God?
If we don't meet the requirements on this list, then are we really in faith? Even Jesus couldn't do many miracles in some cities because of their unbelief

I remember a preacher telling how parents struggled with their rebellious son. They haven´t seen him in 5 years. Their son contacted them and came home within 24 hours after they burnt a painting they won at a lottery.

I think he means when someone has charms that they know they shouldn't be having and knowingly hang on to it ijt is sin and sin will keep you from God. Read James 4:17.
What kind of charms? Toys or lucky pieces? I had pieces of jade carved into images of old gods; aka amulets/lucky charms. They were cast in a fire and destroyed.

He wasn’t saying those things are the key to salvation. Those things are the keys to deliverance from demonic spirits and entities. I became a Christian over 15 years ago and never could catch a break and continue yes to backslide. It was until recently out of desperation from the torment of these demons got so out of hand, I gave birth to my son and did not want him to inherit this…out of that desperation I begged God to deliver me and I had a radical encounter with the Holy Spirit and received deliverance. I repented and renounced that night and that’s when it happened. I continued to pray and ask God to show me those areas where I had opened doors - continued to repent and renounce and received more deliverance in my own room. This is real.
