Great lineup. Even a 'bad' Neo Geo game is still good. All of them are solid games with care and love put into them. Truly one of the best gaming has to offer. I have to say Magician Lord is among my fav. Nice loading times and just a solid classic action platformer that rivals the likes of Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden. I feel the Neo Geo needed a bit more of them. Also Cyber-lip is worth a mention. Plus that amazing Neo Geo CD controller *chef kiss*.
For me the top 10 best Neo Geo CD games I amor are Metal Slug 1 & 2, Burning Fight, Mutation Nation, Robo Army, Ninja Combat, Sengoku 1 & 2, Top Hunter, and Twinkle Star Sprites love the neo geo cd way more then PS1,N64 and Saturn dont care what anyone says.
I have a neo Geo emulator on my gaming tablet with an ipega controller to back it up. Loading between level is as fast as the arcade. I wonder how a 1x or 2x CD speed would take for a neo Geo CD .
You should have considered the loading time as well, for instance Last Blade is absolutely unplayable due to this hence should not be in this list...enjoy factor is an important parameter for a top in my opinion.
