Great video. When you mentioned that you wanted the truck ball mount receiver installed to be 24" from the ground, where did this number come from? It is because the height of the trailer coupler or from the differences between the height of the receiver and the coupler then added to the receiver height so all will be leveled?

that # for be comes from the ground to the top of the ball. Now unloaded you want 1-2" higher. Once trailer is loaded the back end of truck will swat a little so you want it at that point for trailer to be level.

They changed the design. It no longer uses multiple places to insert the anti rattle plug. The anti rattle is in the ball now. The double weld brace in the back of the hitch is now a single piece just like the top.

How do you like pulling with this hitch. I'm looking for a new one that doesn't rattle on stops or starts the one I have has to much slop in it every time I adjust my speed the trailer bangs back and forth they said its normal for it. When I went to take it back. I bought it in a hurry my last one gave up it was 20 years old though so I can't complain about it

I like this drop hitch alot for the money enough to this day. Good quality but holes could of been drilled better for easier alignment. But i can not complain for $140ish bucks. It does not bang around but i make sure my trailer brakes are dialed in right. There are others i wanted to get instead like GEN-Y or Bulletproof Brand but they are $300+. Maybe someday though. Thanks for watching!

This is the exact hitch that UHUAL sells, but they put their label on it. I got the 2 1/2 inch hitch..........

the amount of idiots I see towing either campers, boats, or even daily work trailers with the WRong ball mount is mind blowing.... invest a little and save a lot down the line

Should have ordered a Bullet Proof hitch from BulletProof Hitches. There much higher quality and have a tow rating up to 30,000 lbs.

Hi, yes you are 100% correct . I really did consider BP hitch as well as Gen-Y drop hitch around the time purchased this Curt. But i just could not justify spending $300+ on a drop hitch at the time. Maybe in the future i will sell the Curt and get me one. Thanks for watching!

Realistically nobody is using a ball hitch to pull 30,000 pounds
