Hi, it is not one straight ferry. you have to transfer in Male. Male to Maafushi 1 way $25 USD Male to Dhigurah 1 way $65 You can visit Maafushi in 1 day round trip its on 30 min boat ride but Dhigurah is 2-2.5h one way and the ferry runs only 2 times per day, so it's not worth it to go there for a day trip.
Does anyone know if there is a house reef with a drop off on this island close enough to swim to from the shore? I really don't want to be paying for snorkeling boat trips every day!
How did you get to the island? By yourself just leaving the airport and boarded a boat or booked a seat through the Guest house? We will have time before 4 pm, just thinking about availability, I understand that the price of the boat is different. We plan to go to this island in 4 days
It depends. To see the island itself it’s just 1 day. We did a complete tour. You can see how fast you can go from 1 end to the next. 1 day for the whale shark tour. And it depends what else you would like ex: mantaray tour, tilla snorkel tour, just hang out on the sandbank…
I will be there on November 😃 is the bikini beach really so long ? I read in couple sources that there is only 150 meters. The rest from north beach is no bikini... Is that true ?
Hey love, I watched your video on whale sharks and planning to go to dhigurah and im pregnant, then i heard about zika disease in maldives, which is bad for pregnants, have you heard anything while you were in malddives? Did you got lots of mosquito bites? We wanted to visit in January
Hi there, we are currently in the Maldives for 3months visiting 30islands the mosquitos has not been a problem. If we do notice there are some mosquitos we spray ourselves and it’s never an issue. He highly recommend whale shark beach hotel we can offer a discount code
