Everything is explained so nicely😊I was confused between both properties but your vlog cleared all confusions. Keep going guys🤗 Thank you for making this vlog🙂
Thanks a lot for the vídeo!!! We are going in october for our honeymoon I was a little worried because I thought we couldn't cross from Fulhamaafushi to Digurah. And also thanks to you I know we could do some Water activities in the diving centro placer at Digurah. I will check to make aura we stay in the West side of Fulhamaafushi. 😘
Hey there! Thanks so much for your comment! Ah yes- the bridge is amazing and a cool way to see both properties :). have a wonderful trip and let us know any questions you have!
Hi, can you do a review of Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives please :) we want to book a sunset beach pool villa there. Your reviews of holidays are the best I’ve seen on TH-cam. They’re amazing and extremely useful! Keep up the good work, I’ve liked and subscribed :) as a fellow luxury traveler, this is exactly what I have been looking for :)
Thank you so much for your comment! that means a lot to us!! We'd love to do a review of the Atmosphere - maybe next trip ;). I did a bit of research and it looks like a GREAT hotel- sunset pool villa definitely is a good move. Love the tub too in that room. The meal plan seems a little confusing because guests are only able to enjoy the fine-dining experiences once per 4 nights (not sure why they would do that) and otherwise there are only a couple of options for dinner. Love that they have complimentary transfers right now, by the way, that'll save you QUITE a lot of money! Whatever you do decide, I'd recommend pre-booking your dinner reservations, it sounds like that could be a bit of a headache (not sure if you saw our Heritance review but we had some weird issues the first night). feel free to reach out on instagram or email if you have any questions! always happy to help :)
I had been there and every day i claim down the little stairs besides the pool on your own house and then i took the plastic up and i also swim out to a dark blue line and that was absolutly beutifule

Hey there! I just answered your comment on the other video but in case you missed it (and for the benefit of others reading this comment): They are pretty different in general. Fushifaru is VERY small and very cozy- they have a spectacular sandbar you can access by boat and the resort is best for people looking to really do nothing but relax and enjoy the serenity of the maldives. The residence has a lot more restaurants, activities and options but is also a MUCH larger property and not super cozy. Residence is also only accessible by domestic transfer which is really a big time suck. I'd say ultimately, think about what the total price of the resort is and the room type you can get (which one do you like better) and then what you want to get out of your vacation (total relaxation and small island vibes versus larger island, more activities, more people). Happy to answer any questions if you want to shoot me an email at team@voyagerguru.com
Hi there! Thanks for your comment - you can access both properties free of charge and experience both sides of the island. Highly recommend exploring the whole island! Feel free to reach out to us on instagram or email (team@voyagerguru.com) if you need any help!
Hi linda! We have not yet been to jawakara so I can’t speak to much about their house reef but Pullman and residence do have a lot of sea grass. That atoll they are located in has AMAZING snorkeling and diving but it’s not right off the bungalows for sure. Residence and Pullman both do have a house reef you can access from the hotel :) let me know any questions you have!
@@lindas2531 Hey Linda! wow that will be an amazing trip! There are a lot of amazing guest houses in the maldives for sure and the hotels you are looking at are good depending on the logistics. there are a lot of great options that I can think of depending on your budget- do you mind sending me an email with your dates/approximate budget? I get some great rates at most properties in the Maldives I have no doubt we'll be able to find you something perfect. For example, Avani+ Fares that we just stayed at has some insane deals and may be the perfect fit for you and your family (great price point, amazing kids club and the best house reef we've seen in a long time- close to hanifaru bay). my email is team@voyagerguru.com. chat soon! xx maren
Hey there! In our opinions, yes. The overwater rooms are just better on the falhumaafushi side - more privacy and better water :). The new side is nice but they have better beach villas than overwater villas
Hey there! That's a great question - I sure hope so too!! LOL. I did a quick scan of tripadvisor and it does appear to be a bit more organized now. Looks like they run shared shuttles to the two properties on occasion but drop off the appropriate people at each dock.
Oh gosh I just went through ALL my photos and videos from there and can’t find it 😭😭 in our newer room tours, I show the number. Thankfully all the water pool villas were lovely
Love the review! Was it pricey? I'm planning a trip for my birthday this year, hopefully this Covid thing will be "settled" . I'm debating between Maldives or Bora-Bora.
Hi Rachel! Thanks for your comment! The Residence is a great property- definitely not going to be a cheap vacation, but it is on the more "Reasonable" side of the 5 star properties in the area. Cocktails were delicious, priced between 13-17 USD, which is fairly reasonable for a property in the Maldives. We had the half board plan which we also felt was a good value. Maldives and Bora Bora are definitely different- Maldives is usually cheaper to get to and will cost about the same while you are there. Maldives is INCREDIBLY unique in that every hotel is a different world from another, even when its next door, but there are endless options. The Maldives has stayed open and have a 96-hour covid test to enter. Bora Bora is currently closed, so it depends on when you are looking to book. Feel free to reach out direct if you need any help or let us know if you have any other questions!
Hello guys it’s really informative nice video I am planning to take my children to same resort first of July I will be coming from another resort but will go back home from the residence so which suitable transportation way to go to male airport is it the speed boat or seaplane and how long it take each way and do you know how much it cost. Thanks and best regards
Hi Abo! Thanks so much for your comment! That sounds like a great trip. So the residence is very far south of male so the transfer is actually a domestic flight + a short boat ride. The flight is only about an hour and then the boat ride is about 15 minutes, but between waiting and everything else usually the transfers take about 3-4 hours. If you call the hotel, they will be able to plan the perfect transfer schedule for your flight out :). The transfer cost I believe is around 400-500 dollars per person from male to the hotel and back but I’m not sure the price for children. Let me know what other questions you have!
You forgot to explain how unsustainable tourism has caused the devastation of the corals and other wildlife. You should visit Thilafushi, a beautiful island that was turned into trash island with trash spilling into the ocean. Guess whose toxic trash is taken there.
Hi Marjane! Thanks for your comment. It is certainly unfortunate to see so much pollution and trash around the world. I will say that a lot of the trash in the ocean in the maldives actually comes from a current from india and other areas around the world. The maldives is now leading massive efforts to clean up the ocean and create sustainable tourism to protect the future of our planet. Baa Atoll for instance is a world heritage site and has banned all plastics from the entire atoll. A coalition of government and hotels are even working towards eliminating plastic from the entire country. Most hotels in the Maldives have no plastic water and even desalinate their own water - there is, frankly, so much more care for our planet in the Maldives than most places we have visited around the world. Many hotels also have recycling plants and manage their own waste internally. I would urge you to look into the work Soneva is doing in the Maldives as it spans far beyond their own property - it's all very fascinating!
You guys are great - thank you for the break down!

Is there a safe in water villa at falhamufushi
Hello! Thanks for reaching out. Yes, we did have a safe in our villa and all the villas should have a personal safe in the closet :)
