The Cherokee, my ancestors have a story of a large giant that lived in that area. Everyone knew not to hunt for game there because the giant would kill you if he caught you. One time two young men of the tribe went there to hunt because at the time the game was scarce. They were found by the giant and was chased by him. They got away but there is a rock that has claw marks in it and it is said that those marks were from the giant as he jumped over rocks to chase the boys. To this day the rock is sacred to our people. Thank you for another great video.

Hey Luke. Loved your folk lore stories and the adventure. I don't know if I ever told you before, but I was once the co-founder of the Lone Star State Paranormal Society here where I live in Texas. A friend and I started the group back around 2008 or 2009. We did ghost hunting for about 5 to 6 years. Back when every channel you tuned to had a paranormal show on it, more than now. lol I can honestly say I saw things I can never explain and heard things I could never explain. On one of the very last hunts we did, I saw a black mist figure in the room with me, our cameras didn't pick it up, and my team members couldn't see it on the video monitor. When I went back a day later and listened to the voice recorder, I picked up a voice during the same time I saw that figure, saying "Death is Here!" That was just one of several things that made me get out of ghost hunting.

Plaster casts made of Bigfoot prints exist, and have been collected across numerous continents. Nests have been found that contain fur which was caught on branches. The fur was DNA traced to an extinct asian class of apes. There are recorded sounds of Bigfoot. There are films and videos people have taken of them. There is also an extinct ape known as Gigantopithecus which we have fossils of that were found. We have eywitness sightings by people going all the way back to Eric The Red's first visit to North America. We have native American legends which mention them.

You are Open to Adapt if it warrants, therefore you are very Open and not closed to just people, places, things, times & event's.

I understand that you want to hike/camp. But if you ever see one, You will understand. It changes everything. Just remember if you get that gut feeling, find another place. I have seen one up close, Something That is Etched in my mind. I never asked for that to happen, but it did. Be Safe, you have a good head on your shoulders. Cheers from Central SC.

Luke, just wanted to say thank you for all the hard work you put into these videos. I do some mild gopro/filming etc but when folks talk about how much work it is, you really need to physically do it your self and experience it. Man... the prep, set up, planning, charging, packing gear, walking past the camera only to go back and set up further down the trail, whoa! Thank you sir!!! That's just in a nutshell haha! 🙏

When I was going to Penn State for Wildlife I was picked to give two reports on bears, Grizzlies and Black Bears. I read every book available at the time from every bear expert and have come in close contact to several Black Bears while working as a Forest Biologist in Montana. virtually every hunter, hiker, fisherman who was ever attacked by a Grizzly never had a suspicion there was even a bear in the area before they were attacked. This doesn't include those occasions where someone stumbled across a female with cubs. That was just bad luck. Black Bears , unless they have become habituated to humans, are very quiet, secretive animals. They have fur, which is very quiet in the woods, and padded feet which make virtually no noise in the forests. Of, the recommendation is to lie down and play dead if attacked by a Grizzly. As tough as that is to do, it is the only real "defense" you have against one , unless you have time to use your bear spray or firearm. Grizzlies do not usually view people as a food source. However, if you come across a Black Bear that steadily walks you down and won't be dissuaded by yelling, hitting trees, whatever you try and finally does charge you, if you lie down in front of a Black bear that is showing this passive / aggressive behavior, it will eat you. If you don't have a firearm, forget about trees, they can climb as fast as a squirrel. The only real defense is a deep body of water. A man from Canada videotaped just the scenario I described a few years ago.A big Black male bear just slowly walked this man down, going side to side, but moving towards the man. He yelled, threw clubs, hit trees. The man was beginning to get really scared until he saw a lake behind him. he ran into the lake, up to his chin, holding his phone over his head. The bear walked up and down the shore line. The man had cell service and called the fish and game, whatever they are called up there, and they told him to Stay where he was and they would get there as soon as they could. I don't remembe rhow long he stood in the lake, but it was summer. Finally they showed up, with hounds. He waded out of the river and the dogs took the scent and treed the bear, which they shot. They also found a partially eaten man not 100 yards from where he first saw the bear. Oh, Bigfoot? No Bigfoot. There are millions of more people here now than there was in the 60's when this all started. There is no such thing as wilderness anymore and everyone has a camera and drones are everywhere.Everyone just wants their ten minutes of fame. Paranormal? That's another story. While a lot of it is bull, not all of it is. I and my wife and daughter and son can attest to that, maybe 45 or so years ago. And he family that moved into the house after we fled, well my wife fled, I had to show I wasn't afraid, but later, I had had enough. The next family that moved in had the same experience there and they left abruptly also. The last family that moved in didn't last a month..Finally someone burned it down. I suspect the owner did as it had fallen into disrepair..
